6 April 2018. Book printed!
“Red Glittery Hummingbirds”. 24 dreams from 15 illustrators. 262 participating children. 88 pages. 2 colors.
Hüllenlos! Although we had an original plan for this book, the result was a total surprise. The book was growing and adapting all by itself. New illustrators were joining us, and we just let it flow.
These are the home countries of the dreamers: Switzerland, Russia, Colombia, Germany, Portugal, France and Belgium.
And these are some random words that they generously gave us (these words can also be used to write a review of this book or to describe a soon to be born baby): Rocking, freezing, eerie, alive, magical, free, hüllenlos, luscious, adventurer, changing, alive…
Lovely thanks to the 262 girls and boys that joined us, to their enthusiastic teachers, to the Swiss school St. Karli (Lucerne), and to the Spanish schools Gregori Mayans (Gandía), La Salle (Paterna), Cervantes (Buñol).
Thanks to all the sweet dreamers-illustrators!
Rina & Roger

Some children’s drawings for one of Martina Walther's dreams: "We are in a holiday apartment. The apartment is very long, that´s strange. We have to jump all the time over wild pigs, which are running around in the apartment. On the briks/ frames of the walls there is straw. Nobody gets hurt, even though it´s very dangerous if the wild pigs are coming". 1/Oct/2017

Various children's drawings for one of Martha Verschaffel's dreams:
"I’m in a boat on a river. There are other boats, sailing next to me. But my boat is much deeper in the water, almost sinking. Only my head is above the water surface, but the boat is floating anyway. Next to me is a dead body floating, in my boat. He’s just below the water surface. He floats along with my boat. I see people with masks of cats on the shore. They are looking at me".
