Forgiveness
Imagine Leia had listened with deaf ears whenever Luke talked about the good in their father. She refused to believe that he was anything less than a monster.
Imagine whenever Ben would ask about his Grandfather, Leia would talk about him only as the soulless, black masked demon that she knew in her childhood. And Han would silently listen, knowing not to say anything.
Imagine Anakin would constantly listen in to what Leia would say about him, and allow himself to feel the hatred and anger behind her words as a form of personal punishment.
Imagine when Leia finds out that Ben has gone to the Dark Side, she finally understands. She understands that the Dark Side can tempt even the kind-hearted and she finally believes in what Luke had always tried to tell her about their father.
Imagine Leia grieving one night over the loss of her son and her father. And Anakin’s Force Ghost comforts her for the first time.
And imagine that Leia finally forgives him.
