"I witnessed things that were wrong," she said of her visit. "I saw Arabs being thrown out of their houses in Jerusalem. But it was just the extraordinary magical energy of a country just beginning to put its roots in the ground . it was amazing time to be here

Not just thousands of Palestinian children, but tens of thousands of Palestinian youths, men, women, and the elderly. 5% of Gaza's population has been either severely disabled/injured, has gone missing, or has been genocided. From destroying orchards and farms, to the destruction of Gaza Infrastructure to the point where it has collapsed in many spaces -especially their medical complexes, to the complete lack of access to fresh and clean water. Israhell is also still starving Palestinians -is still committing war crimes, and now this? The zionists are continuing their illegal settler-colonial project full steam ahead apparently, and it's beyond horrific.

PLEASE DO NOT TAG OR SEND TO NEIL GAIMAN
I made you a gift!
Tumblr media
It's a cheesy bumpersticker style nudge to STOP SENDING NEIL GAIMAN
- fan therories about season 2/3
- your own theories about season 2/3
- other people's theories about season 2/3 (ESPECIALLY WITHOUT PERMISSION)
- your wants for season three
- things you don't want for season three (other people might want that!)
- YOUR FAN FICTIONS OR FAN ART
He has repeatedly asked not to bring these things to him. And even though his answers can be funny it can get him into legal trouble if what ends up in the show is similar to fan art/fics/creations
Please! Stop!
Bonus

Feel free to spread these around I'm so tired of the second hand embarrassment

As someone who will defend reputation till her dying breath, I really hope reputation (taylor’s version) will not see the light of day for a very long time. Taylor has just released 31 new songs that can be considered as some of the best work of her career so far. Can we please take some time to really enjoy, live and celebrate the moment for once?

ATTENTION! TIME TO PUT YOUR MONEY AND TIME WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS FOR STUDENT ACTIVISTS!
On April 25th around 1pm, emory encampment got violently raided by police after 5 hours of peacefully handing out food. i personally saw videos of a person having their heads thrown into the ground, a Black person clearly marked as a street medic being held down and tased repeatedly, and police grabbing and shoving people violently. a person was choked as they were thrown to the ground. there are reports of not only tasing, but tear gas and rubber bullets. remember also that this isn't just emory students, but students from universities across georgia— here are testimonies from spelman and morehouse students about the raid.
the bail fund is the ven/mo @hallestewart and the atl solidarity fund is helping as well
if you are in ATL show up to EMORY NOW (address below). Hundreds of students and community members have taken the place of the arrested, but WE STILL NEED MORE! we CANNOT let this happen again. EVERY BRUTALIZATION IS THE RESULT OF NOT ENOUGH COMMUNITY PROTECTION.
As of 7:00pm on April 26th, all arrested on April 25th have been released, so jail support is no longer needed but charges still remain. Jail support could also be needed again at any time.
if you would like to make your feelings known to representatives and campus officials, contacts below. DEMAND any charges be dropped, and that students do not face disciplinary action. DEMAND justice for the people brutalized at emory.
and remember that there is a reason that the police in a predominantly Black county are the ones responding the most violently.

FOR ATL PROTESTORS— SUPPORT THE ENCAMPMENT!
Tumblr media
The location of the Emory protest (200 Dowman Dr. in Atlanta) is shown in the photo above, and the portion of the "quadrangle" where the protest is occuring is pointed to.
------------------------------------------
FOR REMOTE AND NATIONAL PROTESTORS, HERE ARE PEOPLE YOU CAN CONTACT AND WHAT TO SAY:
There is non-specific promotion of the campus contacts by the organizers, so contact these two below with whatever you will— I would personally demand no disciplinary action and condemning their deliberate endangering of students.
Office of the President:
404-727-6013
Campus Life Central:
404-727-5693
-------------------
Demands for the contacts below— URGENT ACTION: Please contact these Dekalb Reps about the protest happening at Emory right now. Ask them to contact Dekalb DA to drop all potential charges against students. (If you have personal numbers contact folks that way, otherwise call office numbers this will take you to their Admin who is a Government employee so please be kind)
Possible script for below given by Georgia Muslim Voter Project: Hello, I am a concerned citizen and I am calling to urge [insert rep name] to contact the DeKalb County DA to drop all potential charges against students arrested at Emory University. Freedom of speech and assembly are core American values and the students are just exercising their rights.
Alternative Script from Palestinian Youth Movement: I am (your name) and I am calling regarding the Emory students and community members who were brutally teargassed and arrested today while protesting for Gaza and against Cop City. I ask that senator/representative (contact name) contact the Dekalb DA, Sherry Boston, and urge her to drop any potential charges against those who were arrested.
Senator Parent:
(404) 656-5109
Senator Davenport:
(404) 463-5260
Senator Jackson:
(404) 656-6882
Representative Crawford:
(404) 656-0314
Representative Margaret-Oliver:
(404) 656-0265
-------------------
please dm me if you have any other helpful info. Remember to center Gaza as this support is to sustain the movement for Gaza. I post daily updates on my page and you can also receive daily updates via the LetsTalkPalestine telegram or the Palestine English News Updates telegram or here or here or here. Remember the demands— disclose investments, divest from "israel", denounce genocide, and STOP COP CITY!
and as always
FUCK

Among those arrested in Atlanta today were Noelle McAfee, Chair of the Philosophy Department at Emory University. You can hear her ask the PhD student taking the video:
“Can you call the Philosophy Department office and tell them I’ve been arrested?...I’m Noelle McAfee, I’m Chair of the Philosophy Department”

I've found if it opens in Chrome, and the page asks u to open the app, don't click the link on the page. Click on the menu button and then the Open in App on there and it works
Whoever invented "open in app" links that redirect you to the app store instead of actually opening the app even when you already have the app installed on your phone should be involuntarily turned into a beanbag chair
