I don't think the masses are ready for my 'q!tubbo is a robot who was programmed to be human' headcanon but I'm gonna share it anyway

q!tubbo has shown time and time again to not fully understand where other residents are coming from, especially when it comes from a place of logic vs. emotions

and maybe the reason he got so attached to Fred is because Fred is also learning to be human, and it makes q!tubbo feel more human to be around and help him

you see, a robot programed with an impossible task such as 'be human' will seek out the next best thing

but something in his wiring got crossed when Fred was kidnapped, and suddenly his 'be human' task stopped being so impossible, and he started really feeling and the first emotion, for lack of a better word, that he latched onto was anger towards q!quackity

it also explains why he doesn't seem to care as much about physical torture compared to mental. his body can't feel physical pain but it ire as hell can feel the mental pain and anguish that cause him to short-circuit

now for the stuff with quackity. it's touched on a bit in the master post but I'll add a bit to it here

so qsmp happens WAY in the future, and the quackity we see here isn't the same quackity we saw in Las Navadas. instead he is the direct descendant and reincarnation of that original quackity

he of course doesn't remember any of his past lives experiences with the gods, but he does get the feeling that he's met them before. he can't really tell if the feeling is telling him to trust them or not

you see Las navadas quackity HATED the gods because of how cruel they were, even after they reformed and stopped going out of their way to mess with mortals. he could never forgive them for what they were, even when wilbur attempted to make a mends

so when the gods showed up on the island quesadilla quackity wasn't sure what to make of them, his gut told him not to trust them but they were both so kind to him

for the gods it brings a lot of mixed emotions. because they have the chance to make things right, but at the same time they are scared they will mess things up if they get too close again. wilbur asked quackity that question that related to their past to see if he remembered anything

i want it to be known that certain crow species (specifically carrion crows) feathers start "graying" if there is a dietary imbalance

these grey feathers are called fault-bars and are much weaker than regular feathers and ore more likely to break

these bars can also form if the bird is under high stress while molting

gotta expand on my q!tubbo robot headcanon

he's like one of those wind up dolls and has a comically large key that he has to put into his back to wind himself up every few hours

this is simply because I think it would be funny, and the image of little sunny trying to wind his key to wake him up in the morning is adorable

you're telling me q!tubbo publicly broke down after someone mentioned Fred. first by lashing out and silently attacking, and then when that didn't work he just sat with his head in his hands for 6 minutes.... and no one noticed

tubbo the guy who always has something to say, and is always so energetic, that tubbo, went silent and no one noticed

the only one who seemed to grasp the gravity of the situation was tallulah, who has gone through similar things. she was the only one to ask if he was okay

Fit was NOT the one to find her, he just walked up the make shift stairs first

wilbur is the one who found the trap door, and wilburs the one who stayed with her after she got out of the attic. he's the one who stayed when she disappeared. fit may have been the first one she saw but it was wilbur who stayed

and the reason it would have hurt so much more if wilbur had rejected her, is that she is so clearly meant for him, fit said it himself

and again, the whole first stream, he was hesitant to full adopt her. and he may not have said it outright but during the full week and a half he was there, he was looking for people who would be able to take care of her when he was gone

and my thing is that even if wilbur said he was only going to be a temporary parent (WHICH HE DID FOR THE FIRST DAY) tallulah would have seen him as her dad. period. and that would have just led to a situation like the one she had with phil, but this time it wouldn't get resolved and she would just hold onto that forever

and you are refusing to see that wilbur DID find her a caretaker, that he DID tell her that he wasn't going to be their, that he DID try to keep in touch

here are the facts:

wilbur took her in when no one else was around to take her

he TOLD her that he wouldn't be around and she knew and accepted this

he found her a suitable caretaker

he stayed on the island much longer than he was originally planning just for her

he's been sending letters (THIS IS CANON!!! it doesn't matter what other ccs say this is his lore and wilbur has said hes been sending letters, wether theve been gettingto tallulahis a whole other deal)

the federation is the one sending wilbur away to tour

Tallulah has every right to be upset that he isn't there, she has every right to be bitter. but she's never going to hate wilbur for it, she will always love him and miss him

my main point in my original post was that people need to remember that q!wilbur CANONICALY does not have the choice not to tour, and that if he could he would be there for his daughter. he never abandoned her

I need people to remember that canonicaly q!wilbur and lovejoy are what fund the federation (knowingly or not) and it is very likely that they are the ones that are making him constantly tour

so if anything it's the federations fault that q!wilbur can't be around for tallulah. they took away his chance at parenthood and use the money he unknowingly raises for them to torment his loved ones

I see what you're saying but also he did initially try to find someone else to take care of her before taking on the role of father, but there was no one else who could. there was quackity sure but after a few interactions wilbur could tell q wouldn't be able to do it either

and the whole first stream was wilbur trying desperately to not get attached because he knew he wouldn't be there for her, he told her he wouldn't be able to be there for her, he told her he wouldn't be able to love her the way she needed

but tallulah kept insisting that it would be okay, and that even when they are apart they would always have eachother, and even then he was hesitant. but in the end he caved because he really does love that girl with all his heart, but he made sure to remind her that he wouldn't always be there

he never wanted full responsibility but when there was no one else there who could (at the time), he took it. and he made sure she knew he would be leaving. I'm not saying what he did was the best option but he did try to find someone else

and even after he accepted her as his daughter, he still found someone who would be able to take her when he was gone. he DID find another caregiver

and the thing with the letters, wilbur says he's been sending them while phil and tallulah act like he hasn't. it's likely that (IN CANON) the federation (or some other entity) have been intercepting the letters and keeping them from getting to tallulah

and you say he didn't try to stay for tallulah. but the thing is he did

he had only planned on being on the island for a few days and than leaving well before the tour. but than he got tallulah and he stayed for longer, up until the very last minute he could (literally 💀)

also yes him leaving fucked her up but I think him rejecting her as his daughter would have fucked her up EXPONENTIALLY more, especially since she is clearly meant for him and he's the one that saved her from the attic

the most tragic part of q!wilbur being made to go on tour by the federation is the fact that only he knows about it, so everyone else on the island thinks he's an absent father

and its very likely that the federation are the ones who have been intercepting the letters he's been sending tallulah (since he canonicaly didn't stop writing them)

so no one but him knows that he really has tried to be there for her in the only way he could

and now tallulah is giving up on him, and it's the one thing wilbur was afraid of when becoming her dad. he didn't want her to grow up and resent him for never being there for him

one of my tallulah headcanons is that she started off as the shortest but now she has grown to be the tallest, just like her father
