The TDP crew's proximity to fandom has always been closer to us than other fandoms where we have an official server, we get little impromptu Q and A stuff sometimes, the promo art and short stories which we are confirmed getting again, interviews to the level we get them, none of this is required for anyone to do

And I feel like I see the TDP crew get shit on the most when they're like. Doing the most compared to other creators with their fans

Leaks getting out is inevitable but I have 2 things to say

1. Conventions have always had exclusive stuff. Maybe cons that were livestreamed set unrealistic expectations for cons going forward but it's just true. I went to a live show for LAVA Live which is a trio of voice actors who do live shows at conventions all over and they ask for no photos or content online so it always stays a surprise. For those, if you don't go to the con, you never ever learn what they do during the live shows if people keep their promises, and I haven't seen complaints about that within my con/those fan circles even though it's Very much so more exclusive. TDP has early but not exclusive info at cons. It isn't unreasonable or an act of hate against fans.

2. Leaks are maybe inevitable, but to me the worst part is publicly leaking. There's a difference between dming a friend or having a little group and posting in the main tags on social platforms not even under a cut when you were asked not to, and particularly in areas where said creators do reside because then it's just outright disrespectful. That's where it feels personally out of line, and people don't seem to get it

Off of point 2, your other fans maybe wanted to know the stuff that could be shared and didn't blacklist spoilers so again, there wasn't defense for that tagged or not

I just want to remind people to please view creators as human beings and even if you disagree with a choice, understand where it comes from, that it was yes a request that couldn't be enforced, but that you hit a point where it feels like disrespect to both the creators and your other fans if they had wanted a specific surprise

Rayllum crumbs from S6 Ep1 Shown at Wondercon 2024's Panel:

Spoilers ahead.

-Opening with: Not really a Rayllum Moment, but a really cute #cuddlefam moment: Callum is lurking around outside. (on one of those castle wall-balcony things) He stares at the cube as the Star rune lights up. Obviously Star rune light= Aaravos+ possessing him- so slight panic! He looks up to find Stella, and takes a sigh of relief. Rayla rounds the corner and they talk about stuff™️"A little monkey told me you were here"

-Callum is really afraid Aaravos is going to use him (he's very vocal about this) He suggests that he and Rayla travel together to the Star Scraper (I think he's pretty adamant it's just the two of them) Rayla is hesitant because she doesn't think that they should be putting the pearl in danger. He tries to persuade her "There's something there for you too, I can cast a spell to free your parents and Runaan" but she holds firm, and I think he backs down.

-probably unimportant, but Callum is sleeping on the couch in the High mage's study. I thought that was a little strange. One of the baitlings was there. He rustled around in his sleep. A lot. I guess this might not count as a rayllum crumb?

-Callum bursts into Rayla's room. She's sprawled out on her bed cuddling Stella. (I believe there was drool, she was very relaxed, good for her) She has a half-ponytail up, and she has a plain purple tunic on (probably one that's under her usual clothes.)

-She literally JUMPS out of bed with pillows in her hands as swords. She flails about a few seconds before she knows it's callum, and scolds him for almost being a victim of her pillow weapons. "that would be a very soft death" my boy's a good sport.

-"Aaravos is going to use me" "I wouldn't let anything happen to you" or something like that. Callum's kind of a madman right now (my words, no one else's) he's running from one end of the castle to the other like some sort of gremlin.

- Callum: *Aggressively sewing*

Rayla: "So, you've decided to solve your inner conflict through knitting?" (Or something along those lines)

- There's a couple of times where Rayla tries to protect Callum from the prison pearl. She shields him with herself when Barius walks in with the decoy prison. She tells him to keep it away from Callum. When Callum goes to switch the prison with the decoy, she offers to go in his stead so he doesn't have to go near it. (He assures her "I'll be fine, I've got my blankie 😏". What a dumbass.)

- Last scene w/main trio: It's morning, and Callum and Rayla are all packed up and ready to go the North. They have the prison wrapped up in the Spell blocking blanket©️. They're riding the shadowpaw, and one of the baitlings is hanging out of Callum's collar. I don't remember if Bait is going with them. Callum yawns quite a bit throughout the scene, indicative of a late or sleepless night. Ezran says a few words, and they ride off during sunrise. As they depart, Callum leans forward onto Rayla's shoulder, and falls asleep. (I heard someone snuck a pic of this out of the panel, please give me it was very sweet) Rayla looks at him over her shoulder with a fond look.

Annd that's all I remember. I was going to take notes, but I didn't want the people walking around to think I was recording with my phone (and I was NOT getting kicked out after driving in the rain for an hour to Anaheim that morning) Story of my life.

considering the fact that the V3 short stories have not been written or planned yet, and that nothing was made public, im afraid we’re in for a much longer wait compared to the one between seasons 4 and 5 :’) thinking late june/july would be logical with this timing
