college is catered towards the able bodied and able minded. school applauds people who can stay up all night, skip meals, and work endlessly. that kind of extreme contribution is expected. why are disabled people being squeezed out of academic institutions? why should I feel inferior because of some arbitrary and ridiculous standard?

-turned in a bunch of assignments, coping with learning to study again, went to multiple coffees, currently drawing lines in illustrator god help me

-presentation went well, didn't get any criticism, was scary talking in masculine pronouns in front of so many strangers, came out to my geometry proffesor, went well, I understand what we're doing so far, got coffee with two nice people and bought some art supplies :), need to finish industrial design hw and an essay

-finished a few assignments, need to do a presentation tomorrow, praying to every god that I won't freeze, found out we need to do a presentation OF AN ESSAY... why... just read it, excited about this week though I hope things go well :)

Student life notes 8.10.21

-First week of college done, all the professors seem very open and understanding, I already have 4 assignments, finished one of them a week early which feels nice, I don't really know anyone who I vibe with yet, I'm out to most professors though, it feels good to see my new name on screens and assignments

-I'm very surprised I'm interested in product design, I wanna learn more about it so I can try to make stim toys for the semester project

-went to a furniture exhibition, had a great time, wow designer furniture nice who would've thought

-I hope I can finish all of my assignments this weekend, I don't wanna catch myself procrastinating
