I just want to share this really remarkable series of photos captured by Allyson Seconds in Sacramento a few days ago.

She thought she was photographing some dogs, but didn't realize they were coyotes until looking at the photos later.

Most people living in the middle of cities don't think about urban wildlife, but they're out there.

They've just gotten good at avoiding people.

Predation on pets are unfortunately common.

every rat guide ever: rats cannot throw up, so they are very cautious with unfamiliar foods. they will taste tiny amounts of food to make sure it is safe before eating it
