i like how House of Revelations ends with Eddie and KT screaming their heads off seeing RFS but then House of Questions begins a few minutes before the scream (per usual HOA cliffhanger next episode resolutions) and then they don't scream, Eddie is just like "Wow is Denby like Frankenstein? tehe!" like the writers realized the scream was a bit much and would give away their location but needed to keep it in at least one episode for the cliffhanger drama

Look, I have just found out that I’m a witch, that my sisters are witches, and that we have powers that will apparently unleash all forms of evil. Evil that is apparently going to come looking for us.

ok, so the way her empathy was first established (sensing and unconsciously reflecting emotions), Phoebe, at most, should have been able to affect peoples'/demons' control over their powers by un/consciously affecting their emotional control; it could have started accidentally and then grown to deliberate over the course of the season. but she never should have been able to use their powers; mimicry was never a part of empathy before and it was a stupid addition that made her overpowered.

y’know i always sorta classified phoebe’s powers as a variant of deflection and i wish that they would have had them grow to the actual power of deflection which has already been established as a separate power from telepathy (though we did still see prue use deflection frequently) but now that u say mimicry............ I Would Like To See It. like obvi it would have to be a seperate power development from empathy it can’t be a one and done but like. you know what they always say. your powers come from your emotions. so maybe next time the charmed ones are fighting some demon phoebe gets like this sudden wave of empathy like jesus fucking chris that was like really strong emotion almost knocks her off her feet how much she’s feeling right now and piper is like !!! and like stops actively attacking bc she’s tryna make sure phoebe isn’t like dying and this demon capitalize on piper’s momentary distraction and goes in for the kill and phoebe’s like NO! and dramatic shot she shoots out a fire ball or an energy ball or something and kills the demon and everyone’s like what. the fuck. and now that the demon’s vanquished phoebe’s no longer getting that weird empathic vibe and piper and paige are like you can shoot energy balls now??? and phoebe keeps trying to shoot energy balls and nothing happens and they’re like okay...... just like.... don’t turn into a demon or anything and phoebe’s like 👍 and then like later back at the manor phoebe’s like trying to shoot energy balls again and leo’s like hey queen. you good? and phoebe’s just throwing out her hands real weird and she’s like no i’m trying to energy ball and leo’s like you’re trying to What and piper shows up like oh phoebe threw an energy ball earlier today and leo’s like You What and phoebe’s like yeah but i can’t seem to do it again and leo’s like good! that’s a power from evil phoebe it’s not a power you want it’s blah blah blah shirtfing into like full whitelighter mode and phoebe’s gets that strong empathic hit again and she’s like oh! oh! it’s happening again! and she super concentrates and tries to throw an energy ball and instead she orbs. and leo’s like i’m gonna go check with the elders.
