I think the most fucked up thing about intrusive thoughts is it's really difficult to discuss them without discussing their content, because without a discussion of their content it's impossible to get across just how distressing and debilitating they are. "Oh, you have unpleasant thoughts sometimes? Yeah we all have that, I guess."

But if you discuss their content there's this huge risk of people just pulling away in disgust. "Oh god, you have THOSE sorts of thoughts? They should lock freaks like you the fuck up!" As if they think people act on every single thought they have.

stupid lil au/just thing ive been thinking about for the past couple days (^ᴗ^)

so ,,,, basically,,, yn (who has 0 childcare training, mind you, only previous petcare background) gets hired for a daycare position, under the impression they will be receiving training on site. sun (and moon, by extension) have just been converted to a daycare bot with some childcare protocols messily slapped into their existing code. the code is, frankly, very shoddily put together. at least one human being was legally required to be present with the children so they weren't alone with a robot, so that's where yn comes in.

the daycare's grand opening is coming up. shenagans ensue.

heh, I love this question! It's a little complicated (for many different reasons) as the bots fall for the reader for different reasons- some of which are circumstantial! I would sayyy though, of the bots I've talked about here? It would probably be as follows: Sunspot Nova (hey theres a reason we have to wait to meet him, he falls hard and fast) Misuta Clip Ruin Fool Sol This feels so mean to Clip, imo, cause he is the readers OTB and loves cricket so much. But if they had only now met for the first time? Yeah he is prickly enough to take a little time to warm up. In the fic, Ruin already loves Cricket when he wakes up- because of how much time the reader has spent with him, taking care of him etc. But in a classic DCA style fic without that? He, as biblical DCA would take a while to warm! Fool keeps his heart carefully guarded. So does Sol.
