Still reeling from the ending of the 100. I cannot believe how people (IRL fans, I mean) can see this transcendence as a good thing. Basically humanity just lost the war; they avoided COL but lost in round two. Now we are extinct. FIN.
When everybody was talking about how it was so OOC for Bellamy to switch sides so fast, I totally believed he could break. Why? Because when he saw the visions of Aurora she FREAKING TURNED HIS FACE TOWARDS THE LIGHT, and then he became indoctrinated. I thought there was some weird alien voodoo going on with those lights that human brain finds difficult to resist. And Bellamy was already physically and mentally weakened before that.
I think all those people, all species that have transcended really, are just being low-key brainwashed inside the alien light. The ones who decided to come back for Clarke had just stronger ties with their own group and stronger minds as well. Even if they didn’t show it, it took months to break Bellamy and they only achieved this when they came out with this alien light thingy.
(Of course for Clarke to so suddenly turn on him and shoot him point blank is nonsense. All her characteristics stripped for the Mama Bear.)
Below is a great post on Reddit on how these aliens are just terrifying colonisers.
What especially gets me is one of the comments in that thread about how the aliens probably leave those beams of light behind on purpose. Then the next species who is advanced enough to travel across the universe,  and thus become a potential threat for the aliens, will get curious. Pretty soon one of them will start to research those beams of light, find a way to access the test and boom, next species is efficiently eradicated. Threat eliminated.
A horrible horrible ending.

The bitchy alien judges or whatever, I don’t watch the show: Clarke you will never be able to ascend, like fuck you specifically, all the eligius criminals can ascend I guess but Not Fucking You
Clarke, who I guess is ending up in the normal death afterlife or whatever instead of the City of Light 2 Electric Boogaloo, alongside Bellamy, Monty, Harper, Jasper, Lincoln, Abby, Kane, Lexa, I guess Finn can stay, fuck it Roan as well, WELLS and her dad who all also never fucking ascended: oh no :( what a tragedy :(((

please tell me you all know the only reason he brought back lexa was to take advantage of your passion for her, to boost his viewership, and amplify his chances of getting his shitty prequel green-lit? please tell me you understand that? he used all of us. this is not a win, my dudes. he’s manipulating the lgbtq+ community one last time for his own selfish fucking purpose, and he needs to be called the fuck out on it, not praised. god, i’m literally raging.

Y’all I’m so fucking ready for this shitshow to be over
Thank you to all the talented cast members and crew who worked on the 100 over the years, who loved the show and the characters and what they stood for, who created a series so many people fell in love with and even though it might not be ending...well...I’m very grateful for all the dedication and care they showed in every season. Thank you and I wish them all the best in whatever they choose to do next

Can we also appreciate how brave and selfless Miller was by taking the bomb with his bare hands to move it in the other room?? That is some heroic shit and Miller is overlooked.

The worst part about 7×13 is it's really good until the ending. The Murphy scenes? Great. Gabriel and Josephine? Amazing. The whole premise of bringing back the red sun? Intriguing. The RAVEN scenes? Some of her best development in the whole damn show. Madi comforting the other kids? Like mother, like daughter.
And NO ONE is talking about any of it because of that ending.

I don’t think a tv show has ever made me as tired as The 100 has. Idk a running theme for me this season is that all these characters just seem so tired. Tired of fighting, tired of hurting, tired of surviving.
And you know what? I’m right there with them. I’m tired of watching the characters I’ve spent the past 7 years with hurt, and in pain, and not getting the chance to rest, and never catching a fucking break.

Not to commit to theories because that’s a sure fire way to be let down but like...Gaia has to be on Earth right??
Like what other planet would make sense for her to be sent to. I think her and the crew that stepped through the Bardo Stone are all just chilling on Earth. Also the anomaly stone has to be in Shadow valley right? Like why would Madi bring that up without it being important
Also her name is literally Gaia like that’s the Greek mythos name for Mother Earth
Bring back Gaia 2kWhateverThe Year Is

If we don’t get a scene of Octavia talking sense into Bellamy, then WHAT WAS THE POINT? Octavia literally lead a cult-like group that went to extreme measures because they believed they were humanity’s last chance. And she lost her friends and family and herself because of it. She went down the dark path and is possibly one of the only people who could provide needed insight to stop Bellamy from fully going down it.
