Chucky's trauma. Chucky having trauma about his name. His parents called him Charles. His parents named him Charles. In his dream (1x01), his mother said "Charles" lovingly at the sight of him. His father's last words were, "Charles, run," while choking on his own blood. His father choked out "Charles, run" to try to save his life as he lay dying.

Since May 1st, 1965, he's been "Charlie" and "Chucky." Sure, he's been "Charles" since then, too. Plenty of people have called him "Charles" since then. But... I don't know. I choose to believe he has trauma about it. He hates it when he's called "Charles." "Charles" is for Peter and Elizabeth Ray, only.

(Also, I just need to bring up... the Peter Pan obsession. Don named his dad Peter on purpose. It had to be intentional.)
