“ aw , thanks man ! ” tommy trails behind with peppy steps , as if this hasn’t been one of the strangest ( and possibly the worst ) night of his life . arms cradle the cat , carefully not to disturb their peace as he kicks the door shut . one freehand carefully locks the door . something about robbers or whatever . tommy starts off to the living room , and just stands there , waiting , and asking “ should i … should i bring the cat in ? should i just leave him anywhere ? you’re not allergic or anything ? ”

“ehh.” she doesn’t think she was allergic, but she’s never really spent that much time around any cats, so who knows? “as long as he doesn’t pee in here or screw with my furniture it should be fine.” she looks around the room, not really knowing what she was supposed to do here. “do you want anything? a shower? some water? anything?” her fridge is pretty empty aside from plastic containers filled with leftovers and beers from her dad’s brewery. 

#he may be a mess but at least he's respectful #sammy is so not used to having people over #wornvans

she’s ready to be mean to whoever had interrupted her late night ducktales marathon. it’s her one thing in this fucked up world. she was preparing a string of insults on the way to the door, but as soon as she opens the door and sees tommy looking... somehow worse than usual, she can feel the anger draining from her.  “come on in.” the door is opened wide, and she walks back into her livingroom, trusting tommy to at least have the common sense to shut the door behind him.

 tommy is holding a cat that absolutely does not belong to him , has anonymous barf on his shoes , and is wearing a beer stained shirt that says ‘ i love new jersey ’ across the chest . it also seems that he’s been doused in water and kool aid . blue and red sugar drips onto sammy’s doorstep . it seems that sammy was the closest beacon of hope to pull him out of this very strange night : “ sometimes the party takes you places that you didn’t really plan on goin’ . ”
