Before they decide on the theatrical release, they have to make 100% sure the movie is a money maker. There are lots of expenses releasing a film to theaters. so if after the film is completed, they don’t see it as a money-maker for theaters, it may now go to streaming services.

This movie being a world wide theatrical release should tell you what all perties involved think about this movie.

With all the hype for the movie now and people still think it will flop?!

The production / movie distribution compnay has every right to promote their movie. They financed, they have a set release date. Strike or no strike, movie is going to be released.

Onlt different is, if the strike is still going, then no movie premier or movie promotion by the cast. Its that simple
