Facebook Fuels the Flame
"Some times I want to ask god why he allows famine, poverty, and injustice in the world... But I'm Afraid he will ask me the same question."
I imagine myself answering God, "Well, I'd be quick to stop them if it were in my power, but unfortunately only you have the power to do that."  "If we could understand God and what He does, He would no longer be God. The beauty of this mystery is He loves us anyway." #scapegoat
God could be real. God could not be good, but I suppose God could be malevolent. All-powerful God watches the rape; the murder; the theft; the harassment; the poverty; the blue-collar crime; the natural disasters and everything else. . . but he does nothing with his power to stop it.
Or perhaps the reason we suffer is because God is still making wagers with the devil against us all like he did against his devout follower Job.
