Shin Ryujin - A Taurus Rising ?

Hey hey ! This post will be my first one for a particular reason : I'll consider Ryujin as a Taurus rising for my upcoming posts about her that are Astrology related, thus it'll play an important role for her house placements & so on ! I might be wrong, we don't know about it, but I thought I'd elaborate as to why I strongly believe she's a Taurus rising, by explaining what a Taurus rising 'is' like, and then it'll be up to you to make your own opinion about it ! ;

a comforting personality

Being around a taurus rising makes you feel really calm and safe, the atmosphere is really chill whenever you're in their presence, an "everything will be okay" type of vibe.

They look really patient and approachable, usually not the type of person you'd feel like that they'd reject your presence.

Taurus risings look welcoming and heart warming, think of anything that's earth toned, warm, reassuring, comforting, you feel like you can trust and open up to them right away ! They're not the type to be running away everywhere and being overly loud like a Sagittarius rising would, for example (here we're just talking about the risings, not taking into account the rest of her chart)

When a taurus rising is in the room, you definitely feel their presence, it's heavy, it's noticeable, but not in an overpowering nor overwhelming type of way, they're laid back and calm, they sit back and observe, they seem like slow paced people, you feel their energy in a soothing way, you feel like their presence is embracing you, but it's not oppressing at all just like a scorpio rising would be in most cases, for example here again.

They're the type of people who smile and nod all along whenever someone is speaking, showing that they're interested in what they've got to say, showing that they're listening, they smile warmingly without cutting off the person who's talking, making them feel at ease, understood and heard. Making them wanting to open up even more, they soothe people and make them want to rant to them, because they feel like they'd understand and won't judge them.

Taurus is ruled by venus, Libra is as well, venus is all about feminity, but Taurus risings have more of a... masculine kind of feminity ? Do you get the imagery ?

They tend to have broad shoulders/hips, a thicker bone structure than other risings, they look sturdier than Libra risings, less 'child' like, more voluptuous if you may. But I think that 'sturdy' is the right word to describe a Taurus rising, when making a generality, at least ! They also have really full cheeks, they're usually not the type to have a chiseled jaw or cheekbones, it's more of a plumper, fuller type of face !

Most Earth risings are proud of their bare face and actually prefer not putting make up on. Their skin tone is on the warmer side, actually, they've got a warm tone to themselves as a whole, whether if it's their skin color, eye color, hair color... They just exude warm vibes overall.

By the way, when I mentioned a 'masculine' type of feminity, I don't mean that these people are tomboyish, not necessarily, it's just the vibe they emanate. But they could be, it's just that someone's style isn't necessarily directly associated to their rising. It's just about the vibe/aura, at least in my opinion, although some risings are more prone to some things than others.

So Taurus risings are more prone to have a tomboyish style, but they don't have to, they most often have a tomboyish aura though.

eyes that stare right through your soul whilst both soothing you and making you feel puzzled at the same time

You can straightly say that Taurus risings have bedroom eyes. They've really got a penetrating and somewhat sensual gaze, but not in an uncomfortable way, it's more in an inviting and soothing kind of way. Yet, it can be confusing and puzzling because most of the time, people mistake their intense gaze for some sort of flirting technique when it's actually just their way of looking at people on a daily baisis, no matter who they're looking at.

Taurus risings' gaze can make you feel really secure, just like their aura. The type of gaze that feels like home, that puts you at ease, that warms up your heart, that makes you feel loved in the purest way.

They feel & look trustworthy, so most of the time, people would want to blindly trust them with their life even if they don't really know much about them.

You could also say that their eyes tend to be drowsy looking, they have a gentle jawline, round and squishy cheeks, they usually have small teeth, they have a firm/stern softness to them, they radiate a motherly authority, they look kind and open, but at the same time they're not the type of person you'd take for granted or feel like you can take advantage of.

*a heavenly voice

*this won't apply to all taurus risings, usually, the voice is associated with mercury & the 3rd house ruler, which we'll talk about in a future post analyzing ryujin's. But there are a few things that can be spotted in most taurus risings' way of speaking / voice tone.

Most of the time, their voice is on the lower range, maybe not necessarily low, but let's say that it's pleasing to listen to, it can be velvety, the type of voice that lulls you in.

They're really eloquent and clear with their words, they have classy vibe to their way of expressing themselves, at least when you're not close to them (i mean ; not friends with them, or that they're out in public)

Basically, there are some people whose voice gets on your nerves, and usually Taurus risings won't have that effect on anyone, no matter what their mercury/3rd house is about, but of course there are always exceptions since you have to take the whole chart into account, I'm making a generality here <3

strong and defined eyebrows and quite unique noses

I don't think I need to develop much about the eyebrows, they can look wild, bushy, strong yet defined, no matter what the person's ethnicity is.

When it comes to their nose, by 'unique' it's more like : their nose is something noticeable. It's not necessarily big, ugly, weird, not at all, it's just that they're the type of people whom you can't help but to pay attention to their nose, they have unique shapes, really defined, no matter if you consider them as pretty or not, it's just something about them that is... the main focus point of their face ?

It can sound weird but I'd add that they have a meaty nose ? i'm wheezing it just looks like you could do trampoline on it because it's so squishy and boopable y'know ?

they look like they've got their sh*t together

No matter what the situation is, they always look composed, calm & collected.

Even if they're absolutely not, their darker feelings/thoughts aren't easily readable unless you're close to them and that you're someone who can notice the slightest changes in the atmosphere / mood.

Really the type of person that you'd suddenly learn that they were not doing okay and you'd end up like "??? what ? when ? how ? why ? i had no idea", but really, not the slightest idea, not even doubting about it.

And I know that most of us would probably be like "I can hide it well too ! People don't know how I feel !" and well, if they're receptive enough and care about you : they should at least doubt about it, even if they don't express it. But I think that Earth risings and especially Taurus are the hardest to read when it comes to this ! (and we're talking about risings only, other placements could indicate what i just mentioned as well, keep that in mind, but in this post, we're only talking about rising signs)

That's about it for now ! I also think she's a Taurus rising because of the house placements she'd have if she was one, but I'll develop about it in another post ! For example her possibly being an Aquarius moon in the 10th and Sagittarius mars in the 8th makes so much sense to me, and I'll talk about it, just like for her possible 12th house stellium !

- tend to be more on the voluptuous side. I’ve observed with those around me is are still just as beautiful even if they tend to be more bulkier than the beauty standard

- they have really nice hair!!! majority I know have wavy or curly hair also tend to be thick

- the sweetest ppl once you get to know them as they look quite cold at first glance
