because yes, we 1000% can acknowledge that make up can be art. you absolutely can be fulfilled by being a stay at home wife. people shave for sensory reasons.

but we also need to acknowledge that we exist in a society that pushes these things as that are the exclusive domain of femininity, as things which are required to be a woman.

this is what feminism is criticizing when it talks about those things. on their own, these things are neutral, but the culture around them needs to be examined, because many people simply adopt the idea of these things being feminist without actually examining why they do them.
