Hey everyone! We need your help to create the best party game ever!
Introducing… What The Plot?!
How does it work?
1.) Take a Prompt Card.
Ex. ’Tell us about the time a vampire hit on you.‘
2.) You have one minute to bullshit a story.
After the minute is up, the player next to you needs to continue your story and so on.
However! There is also a pile of cards each with three words on it. Every turn you draw a card and have to use one of the three words from it in your story. Ex. breadstick, cactus, werewolf.’ If you don’t use one of the words during your turn, you lose points. If you can’t continue the story then you also lose points. And if your story is really awful, other players can play the ‘Boo Card’, causing you to lose a catastrophic amount of points. The player who is not the worst wins!
We have already found a supplier and a distribution center in both the US and Europe. We really want to know what you think. Let’s create this game together and make it the best it can possibly be. Are you in?

tropes i will never get tired of
fake dating
omniscient narrator who immediately contradicts the characters (“This is fine,” she said. It was, in no way, shape, or form, fine.)
deadpan jokes while swordfighting
the “I FUCKING LOVE MY WIFE” guy
oblivious pining that slowly escalates until A is going on page rants about how pretty B’s eyes are but still doesn’t seem to recognize they’re in love
Strong Leader Type having to physically fall down in order for the other characters to see how exhausted they are
funny villains who talk and make jokes with their heroes while they’re fighting them
the villains presented as the protagonists
*increasingly pulls out bigger and bigger weapons from more unlikely places*
“I said all of your weapons” *pulls out more*
“ALL OF THEM” *pulls out one last tiny dagger*
traumatized character using humor to cover up ptsd
characters going out for a break at a restaurant/movie/whatever and something bad happening
using the “*gasp* what’s that over there???” trick to avert the enemy’s attention and it working
a villain’s weakness being something totally random and nonsensical
a hero duo arguing over who’s the sidekick while fighting a villain
“don’t be silly, we don’t need [important thing]”  “you lost it, didn’t you?”  “yeah”
“what’s the one thing I told you not to do tonight?”  “raise the dead”   “and what did you do?”  “raised the dead”
“I think that went pretty well” *explosion in the distance*

“Where were you when the earth burned?”
they will ask, and we will explain to them
about Brexit and Trump and Fake News
and billionaires and corporate taxes and big oil
and how it wasn’t just the earth burning,
but also Afghanistan and Syria and Yemen
and Kashmir and Sudan were bleeding too
and the ice caps were melting
and the coral reef was dying
and the tigers and leopards
and elephants were going extinct
and of course, so many of us were fighting
but the well of truth was poisoned
and how no one believed their eyes
or pictures or scientists anymore,
How does one fight monsters
when there are an eternity of them
to fight, we promise, we promise, we tried.
“Where were you when the earth burned?”
they will ask, and we will hold our hands out,
hold theirs and say, “we too, like you,
were hoping, praying, wishing...
and just trying to survive.”
When The Earth Burned, Nikita Gill

reblog and make a wish! this was removed from tumbrl due to “violating one or more of Tumblr’s Community Guidelines”, but since my wish came true the first time, I’m putting it back. :)

I saw this on Pinterest and I had to ss it. i don’t know if I’ve mentioned on this account before, but I’m a very religious person who’s had a very religious upbringing. and I’ve usually had a pretty weary stance when it came to the topic of abortion. many people argue that it’s taking a life, which is obviously a very debatable subject. but for me, besides that arguement, I believe that we have agency. for me, looking at it from a religious standpoint, God have all humans the gift of agency so that WE can decide for OURSELVES what we do with our life. especially for my religion, we focus a lot on the importance of being able to make choice for ourselves, and I think taking away a woman’s rights to her body is a gross abuse of what God meant by giving us the ability to make our own choices.
