The health disaster in northern Gaza exacerbates the suffering of the people, as they face an increasing risk of the spread of infectious and deadly diseases such as hepatitis, which has become a heavy guest everywhere. As the Israeli aggression continues for more than 200 days, health conditions have deteriorated significantly, leaving a fertile environment for the spread of epidemics. Polluted water, overcrowding and displacement in camps and schools, high temperatures, collapse of the health system, scarcity of medicines, and accumulation of waste are all factors that increase the risk of disease outbreaks among citizens, especially the most vulnerable groups such as newborns, the wounded, the elderly, and those with chronic diseases. All of these factors expose the residents of the North to great health risks in light of the health sector’s complete inability to provide basic services.
