Construction on Miles’ dress has been slow. I originally wanted to have the listing up by the end of this weekend, but now I’m shooting for next weekend. I still have some fit issues to work out, I need to serge, press and possibly top-stitch some seams. Also still need to add in the off the shoulder sleeve thing, adjust the neckline, and hem it all. With how difficult the first attempt was I was worried I wouldn’t be able to easily replicate it for future orders… but I used a more “top-down” approach this time and it’s so much better. Kind of late to the party but here are my very tentative plans for 2019 cosplays! These ideas have been floating around for a while but with the new year and ECCC coming up I wanted to actually select some so I have something definitive to set my mind to. I’ve have the fabric to remake supergirl for a few months so I’ll definitely be doing that. I’ve also been playing a lot of BOTW, which is the first video game that has actually managed to hook me (other than animal crossing lol). And you all know that I love cosplaying characters who I don’t need a wig for, so I’m throwing Adora in there cause I think they will be easy builds to make in time for ECCC. Captain Marvel dress update! After many scrapped pieces I finally have a bodice foundation that I like and a solid procedure for adding the detailing. I still have a lot of work to do before I have a final product that I’m 100% satisfied with, but I’m happy I’ve reached this point!
