The moment I met my brother and beloved photographer, the injured Abdullah Al-Hajj, who was besieged for 14 days in Al-Shifa Hospital, and Abdullah had his legs amputated after the Israeli occupation planes targeted him while he was doing his work documenting scenes of the Al-Shati refugee camp, and he was without medical care, food, drink, or operations throughout this period. Period, his condition before the siege is very difficult, so what about his condition because he needs operations on a daily basis, so what about his condition during the siege!
After he saw me, he cried and said, "My love, Bilal."

34,000 deaths is clearly an appalling undercount when watchdog groups learn about mass graves like this every week.

a lot of the coverage of the Palestinian genocide is focusing on the US student protests and the narrative is constantly in danger of shifting away from what the protests are actually about and a lot of the language is now speaking in terms of police brutality, silencing of free speech, etc. It's not a radical thing to say that this isn't exactly helpful to the Palestinian cause if the actual reasons for the protests aren't constantly front and center. A lot of people have already made this point. I do not think the genie can necessarily be put back in the bottle with how the protests and the police reaction to them are entering the public consciousness of the USian people. A lot of people are or will become aware of these protests through the lense of these simply being instances of police brutality, and police brutality is a critical issue that many USamericans are very passionate about thus making it difficult to reframe the context of these images of police slamming white professors into pavement towards awareness of Israels decades long illegal occupation and systematic and indiscriminate displacement and murder of Palestinians. What I feel needs to be done is try to reframe these images flooding the internet not *away* from issues of police brutality and homesoil fascism, but in the wider context of imperialist governments taking the lessons they learn oppressing "foreign peoples" and turning them inwards. That police brutality is not disconnected from imperialist mass murder. That the one thing connecting the assaulted USian protester and the trans israeli denied gender affirming care for refusing to serve in the fascist Israeli military and the Palestinian child buried alive for the crime of being Palestinian... the one thing connecting them is that, sooner or later, they are all victims of power. Our rights are granted to us inequitably, unevenly, and are just as quickly stripped away when we do not serve the interests of fascist power. We are either a tool of the state or an enemy of the state. The Palestinian, not the innocent or the guilty but the human being Palestinian, is murdered because she can not be useful to the state while she is still breathing. She can never have the "privilege" of being a tool. I'll say it again: We outside of Palestine who can go to protests, who have families, who are able bodied, who can work, who can keep their head down or speak without immediate retaliation have the "honor" of choosing to be a tool of the state or an enemy of the state. The Palestinian has no choice.
There will always be an armed cop ready to arrest you and kill your brother as long as there is a bomb ready to drop on the heads of Palestinian children. Fascism trickles up and inward.

Hind Rajab was a 5 year old girl in Gaza who was killed while she hid alone in a car, along with the paramedics who tried to rescue her. Yesterday students at Columbia seized the administration building and renamed it in her honor.

This IS BEYOND unacceptable -FU to Doug Ford and ANY politician/public figure in the Ontario Legislature who agrees with this. A keffiyeh is a traditional scarf worn by many Arab people, and people in West Asian communities. It does represent/symbolize Palestinian resistance and solidarity (among many aspects, of course), but that's not a crime -and trying to censure someone's right to wear traditional garments because you'd rather pander to zionists (as this article notes, many wear religious wear every day in office), is the real issue here -this is discrimination. This is legislated discrimination and is hateful.

Israel is setting up a complex system of checkpoints that will prevent men of “military age” from fleeing Rafah in preparation for its offensive on the southern Gaza border city, a senior western official familiar with Israel’s plans has told Middle East Eye on condition of anonymity. The checkpoints are designed to allow some women and children to leave Rafah ahead of an expected Israeli offensive, but unarmed, civilian Palestinian men will likely be separated from their families and remain trapped in Rafah during an expected Israeli assault. The previously unreported disclosure of Israel’s construction of a ring of checkpoints around Rafah underscores how Israel is pushing ahead with plans to attack the city where over one million displaced Palestinians are sheltering in tents and makeshift camps. The creation of gender-based checkpoints around Rafah would put a spotlight back on Israel’s practice of stripping and forcibly detaining male Palestinian men and children, as it faces rising scrutiny in the West of its conduct in the war. The rounding up of Palestinian males in Gaza and photographing them stripped to their underwear drew condemnation in December, with the US calling the images “deeply disturbing”. Relatives of many of the men photographed recognised them and said they had nothing to do with Hamas. Israel's military was later accused of staging footage of men surrounding weapons. “Israel considers every male a Hamas fighter until proven otherwise,” Abbas Dahouk, a former senior military advisor at the State Department and military attache in the Middle East told Middle East Eye. “It’s not a sound move. Cordoning Rafah is a daunting task and good luck separating fathers and sons from their families.”

i'm so normal! so normal in fact that i somehow manage to combine both ben 10 and ultrakill even if its just v1 and v2 debating about the existence of tetramands in the ultrakill universe
this video is really fucking stupid but im obsessed with it i hope u guys like it too Ok?
captions below the cutoff
V1 [using software automatic mouth]: IF I TOOK BOTH OF V2'S ARMS AND ATTACHED THEM TO MY BODY, ENHANCING MYSELF WITH THEM, DOES THAT MEAN IF I WERE MORE "HUMAN", WOULD I BE CONSIDERED A "PSEUDO-TETRAMAND"?
V2 [using microsoft sam]: WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?
V1: NO, LISTEN. I WOULD HAVE FOUR ARMS, BUT TWO OF THEM WOULD BE TAKEN FROM YOU. BUT, IF I WERE CONSIDERED A "PSEUDO-TETRAMAND", HOW DO WE KNOW TETRAMANDS EXIST IN THIS UNIVERSE?
V2. YOU'RE CRAZY.
V1. WHAT? I'M JUST ASKING THE REAL QUESTIONS AROUND HERE.
V2: TETRAMANDS DON'T EXIST HERE, DIPSHIT. THEY'RE NOT MACHINES, NOR ARE THEIR CORPSES SEEN ANYWHERE.
V1: BUT WHAT IF THEY WERE-
V2: SHUT UP.

Those who protest against Israel's genocide are punished for antisemitism.
But for some strange reason, authorities have never cracked down on antisemitism any other time. Any other time, antisemitism is considered free speech.
It's almost as if they know damn well that protesting against Israel is not antisemitism.

UUH... I wasn't sure of how to answer, so I'm sending an ask, hopefully that's okay😅😅
Orlam was the one that gave Iggy a credit card (it was his dad's) 🤣🤣
"i could see him gifting small things that are important to him to others, like a lucky eraser or a pet rock or his dad’s diner’s club card that he stole from his dad’s wallet alkdfas (whoops)"
https://just-a-carrot.tumblr.com/post/731265798156484608/this-is-really-interesting-hehehe-i-guess-some
It made me genuinely laugh back when I first read it, so of course I had to draw it😌
I assume your drawing will involve a chocolate cake with buttercream frosting (because of the suspiciously timed ask)?🤣🤣
Anyway, I will be looking forward to it, I LOVE your art style. I could stare at it down to the last detail, and I have😌😌💜
PFFFF that's freaking hilarious, I can only imagine how that would transpire. (Iggy would probably wanna return it since he's a good boy, but also wouldn't wanna get Orlam in trouble and would feel bad since it's a gift...) xD
Hehe, yes... that, and so much more... :3
And thank you so muuuch! It's so sweet of you to say that, I'm super glad to know you enjoy my art. >.<
