He was literally ILL his whole childhood. He wasn't able to experience things the other kids has. But the little and shortness of his backstory. We were able to see just how caring his parents were. Even when he had turned demon. They has STILL allowed him in their home. Of course devastated that their baby boy was turned to a demon.

Yes. They were going to kill Rui. But the fact they were going to take themselves out AS WELL?? Like.

They cared SO MUCH for their son. That they were going to kill him and free him from being a demon then take themselves out so they wouldn't have to carry the guilt of killing their own child.

Even after Rui had murdered them in a act of self defense. The mother had BLAMED HERSELF for the misfortune of her son. APOLOGIZING that she hadn't provided him a healthy, strong body.

Even through his time as being a demon. He wanted to recreate the family HE HAD as a human. But the feeling of a loving family was so foreign to him. He didn't know what it even felt like to have such a loving family. Hence to how toxic his spider family had became.

But. The one thing no one talks about. RUI'S PARENTS. THE FACT THEY WERE WILLING TO GO TO HELL WITH THEIR SON. They had even greeted him in his last moments. Claiming that they could never blame or hate him. As they were his son.

They literally made sure Rui wouldn't suffer in hell alone. For the action and pains he had caused. They had LITERALLY. shared his pain. They are sharing his pain as they feel obligated too. Because they had cared for him this much. They forgave him for his cruelty.
