You might think your anime opening is cool, but is it “seamlessly put a ‘previously on…’ segment in the MIDDLE of the opening and have it kick ass every time” cool?
Found a Darkthur sketch in procreate from about a month ago, decided to clean it up the tiniest bit to post. I know this isn’t necessarily the only or the most likely interpretation, but I absolutely love the narrative idea of this Arthur cutting off his own left arm when John gets too uppity.

The larger males grow keratinized spines on the upper lip, which they use to defend territories, during the breeding season. The spines fall off after he breeding season.

I am going back to my old style of working somewhat - lately I've been trying to be closer to site art with my lines and coloring, as well as using tips other accent artists have posted. Which is fine, but it felt like I was losing a lot of what made my accents, well - mine. So now I'm going back somewhat to how I used to work, especially in regards to coloring. But this time I'm NOT gonna stress over pixels that won't be seen when this is shrunk down!
Still need to do more shading on the moss, and then shade+hl on the rest, but it's coming along I think! Would love to hear what people think. c:
