i had a sign at the game today and on one side said “i support women’s wrongs” and it made both of the camera guys cackle but then when i flipped it and it said “let’s go lesbians!” one of the cameramen frowned at me, and my friend and i just started cackling

Other guys could gnaw on theirs, wiggle it around with their tongues and teeth, hang it out the side of their mouth, whatever, without it meaning anything. But when he did it, he felt like it was giving something away. Revealing something about himself he didn’t want other guys to see.

When Vince shifts, he finds that his limbs feel loose and pleasantly heavy. The surface he’s lying on is soft and deeply padded, nothing like the cold floors he is accustomed to. There is a pillow beneath his head and another two tucked close to his back and chest. It’s almost like the little nests he remembers being swaddled in, way back when he was a baby puppy. Vince wants to snuggle down into the softness again, but his instincts are telling him to sit up. This is not heaven. Monsters like Vince don’t belong anywhere but hell. Wherever he is, it’s a trap. He needs to get his bearings so he can be ready to defend himself.
