Operation old school

This is a headcanon that I’ve had for a while. It’s what I think happened to Angela (Ben King’s sister). The story arc was too good and Deep Silver isn’t touching it right now (yes I know about the movie)

Julius killed Angela. Boom, But let me tell you why

Benjamin King and Julius were the founders of the Vice Kings, pushing back the Carnales and the Rollers for a good 25-30 years before Julius even considers making the Saints. It’s speculated (through Julius’ audio logs in SR4) that Angela got caught up in the Vice King’s mess and got killed (just like Aisha.)

So what I think happened is that Julius left the Vice Kings not because they were becoming the villain, but because the Vice Kings was starting to follow Benjamin solely and making Julius nothing but a sidekick. Julius’ morals were on display throughout his character’s lifetime. Letting the new recruit (your boss) kill people and damage the same city they wanted to “protect” just as long as Julius allows it. Only for him to blow you to hell when your player isn’t useful anymore.

So, it seems Julius is a horrible person that will do anything for himself, but back to my theory. Before leaving the VK Julius was in a relationship with Angela King. Angela was beautiful, street smart, and “wanted to be just like Benjamin” (Julius said this). Their relationship was great, except that they hated each other most of the time. After most of the VK started following Ben, Angela could see that Julius was gettin more unstable and jealous. Understandably, Angela left him and a month later, Julius saw her with another man. This leaves him enraged and he’s now in the “If I can’t have you, nobody can” phase.

A few days after seeing Angela with another man, he does the inevitable. On june 30, 198X Angela was walking from the store to her Sunnyvale apartment. Julius dressed in black and red (the Carnales) rolled up besides her and shot her 4 times. Twice in the chest, once in the face, and one time in the leg. He waited two days until He received a call from Benjamin “Jules, Man…She’s gone *sniffles* Angela Died.” That’s when his act began. He played the ‘grieving boyfriend’ role perfectly and to this day nobody including Benjamin King knows what truly happened to poor Angela. Until Boss gets nosy
