Going back to the Ben 10 fandom after 5+ years of my knowledge about it being locked on a box, I realized that there are quite many Ben 10 fans who are trans or non-binary. Then I told myself "Of couse we would gravitate towards a main character who can switch their appearance in the blink of an eye". Also, gentle reminder that the Ben 10 writers confirmed that the Omnitrix has a function to change the user's biological sex.
