Chicago - script

A convenience store - midday

Masked man - "COME ON! HURRY IT UP NOW! I NEED IT NOW!" (holding a weapon)

Clerk - "OKAY MAN I'M GIVING IT TO YOU JUST CHILL OUT! HERE!"

Masked man - "GOOD!" (he runs out)

A rundown motel room - The TV plays on mute, curtains closed.

(The man takes off his mask)

Man - "I can't believe I just did that. HOLY SH*T" (he lets out a sigh of relief and is suddenly energized). "I Cannot believe it." (Phone rings) "Oh SH*T, Riley." (He picks up the phone)

Riley - "HEY BABY! What are you doing? I called you earlier but you didn't pick up? "

Man - "hey babe. Uhhh yeah sorry I was just... I was making some money haha."

Riley - "Oh really? You're stuuuupppiiddd. But listen, I am coming back next week! I can't wait to see you!"

Man - "Next week? Babe that's great! It's been a month and I missed you so much my..." (He notices something on the tv), "... my love. I have to go can I call you later?"

Riley - "Yeah i actually gotta go too, I love you bye baby see you soon enough!" (The phone call cuts)

Man - (Turns up the volume on the tv)

( "And this robbery happened earlier today but the police department has made a statement on twitter saying they know who the suspect is and are making efforts to capture them as soon as possible. They are keeping it a secret as of now as to not compromise the situation...")

"... Sh*t... I have to leave..."

A payphone booth - rainy night

Man - "... Please, i know i know but i gotta go, they're looking for me MA!... Yes, you know where... Please mom I'll be okay i promise... well, I'm going to Chicago next week, but I'm scared... cause... i didn't even tell her mom. I don't want to tell her. I'll just be gone..."
