Relationship: Sister
Occupation: Being reckless
"I hate everything about you, why do I love you?" / "I'll be there for you, cause you're there for me too."
Fiona and Noelee absolutely hated each other their entire lives. There wasn't a day when the Delgado-Fogelstrom household wasn't full of screaming and bitching and whining coming from these two. They found every possible excuse to fight; everything was free reign, from what channel the TV was on to what grade the other one made on a test. They did whatever they could to push each other's buttons until eventually the buttons just couldn't be pushed anymore. They wore each other out, I guess, and slowly became civilized people with actual hearts who cared (at least somewhat) about each other. As they grew up, Noelee became concerned with what kind of trouble Fiona was getting into and tried to keep her from getting knocked up or arrested when she didn't want to be. Fiona did the same for Noelee, comforting her younger sister after she lost the baby and whenever she had a tough time with Joseph (however, jokes about sloppy seconds weren't off-limits with either of them. They joked about trading boyfriends all the time). Fiona and Noelee always cared for each other and had a way of looking out for each other that no one else understood except for themselves, but now it's even better. They still take care of each other. Their kids are extremely good friends and see each other on an almost-daily basis.

Name: Dominique "Nika" Weasley
Age: Two years younger than Noelee
Relationship: Best friend/"sister"
Occupation: Auror
"When you're feeling empty, keep me in your memory; leave out all the rest."
Often we don't know what kind of blessings we have until they've slipped right through our fingers. Luckily, sometimes we can manage to catch those blessings -- and that's exactly what happened with Nika and Noelee. They were best friends practically all of their lives; Noelee was always at the Burrow and so was Nika, and they bonded quickly over typical schoolgirl things like boys and books and classes. They were closer than two peas in a pod, and then when Noelee graduated, the two slowly drifted apart until they weren't speaking at all. It's not like they were on bad terms or anything, but they were both busy with their own lives and hardly had time for anyone else's. It wasn't until Noelee lost her child that she finally got the strength to pick up the phone and dial Nika's number, and then the two were best friends again in no time. They made a vow to never let each other go like that again and they kept it, staying in touch until they were both old.

Name: Evolet "Evie" Hadamik
Age: Two years younger than Noelee
Relationship: Best friend/"sister"
Occupation: Journalist
"You're the apple to my pie, and the straw to my berry. You're the smoke to my high, and the one I wanna marry. Cause you're the one for me, for me, and I'm the one for you, for you, you take the both of us, of us, and we're the perfect two."
Evie and Noelee. Back in the day, you wouldn't have heard those two names together in a sentence without some report of trouble; they were partners in crime, attached at the hip, and they wouldn't dream of doing something without asking the other one to come along first. Sure, in Evie's first year they didn't get along the greatest, but after Noelee started to date Evie's brother they grew closer until they were finally inseparable. They never really lost touch as the two grew older. They kept up with what the other one was doing, how marriages and business was going, and took the kids on playdates together until they outgrew that. There was no forcing these two apart: ever. Even when Noelee turned 58 and needed a break from her difficult, stressful marriage, Evie was there to offer her a place to stay and a shoulder to cry on. Their kids grew up to be best friends and practically siblings.

Name: Jullian Hadamik
Age: Same as Noelee
Relationship: Ex-love-of-her-life
Occupation: Unknown
"Without me, his world will keep on turning. A world that's full of happiness that I have never known! I love him, I love him, I love him... but only on my own."
There comes a time where you just have to let go of your past and move forward, but Jullian and Noelee never really reached that time. Sure, there was some sense of wrapping up their business and just forgetting about each other, but they never really forgot -- and how could they? They were young and in love, however many issues they may have had. Fifth year was rough on everyone, wasn't it? Old memories and nostalgic thoughts, it was all filled with the kind of pain you never wanted to feel. The pain you never wanted your loved one to feel; sadly, it was the kind of pain that only a loved one could cause. Moving on was in both of their best interest's, but they just couldn't find the strength to forget about the people they'd once dreamed of marrying and being with forever. They did finally go their separate ways and ended up happy, alone, but never without thinking of each other now and again. It wasn't until they were 58 that they saw each other again, and fell in love all over again; it was hard on both of them, seeing as she was married and couldn't just leave the man she now loved. They decided it was best to not talk again and as much as it made their hearts ache, it kept them safe from heartbreak.

Name: Joseph Averianov
Age: Same as Noelee
Relationship: Husband
Occupation: Teacher
"Somehow I found a way to get lost in you. Let me inside, let me get close to you. Change your mind. I'll get lost if you want me to."
Joseph and Noelee have known each other since their seventh year in Hogwarts, where they quickly became friends and eventually began to date. They went through tough times and good times alike; they argued over absolutely everything at first, but soon they found their common-ground and stuck to it. When Joseph asked Noelee to marry him (the year they both turned 20), she freaked out and was so uncertain about everything that she asked him if she could sleep on it and just think about it for a few days. She ended up saying yes that night when she looked into his eyes and realized how much she really loved him. Their wedding was beautiful; all of their friends came, with the exception of one whom Noelee had figured wouldn't attend. They moved into a flat in Paris, France, and had a set of twins together. Whenever the two had differences, Joseph was always the first to forgive and forget; he wasn't a grudge-holder like she used to be. He managed to change her here and there, still keeping her the same person she used to be but letting her grow. They thought of each other as superheroes up until the day she died, and he followed soon after.

“Don’t worry about life, you’re not going to survive it anyway.”
Jasper Averianov? Who’s that? Definitely not anyone you would know - not unless you frequent the Slytherin common room, that is. He’s quiet and shy, hanging around in the shadows. If you ever do see him, you’ll notice that he never smiles; sullen, depressed, hiding himself in pity. Maybe that’s because he grew up ignoring his parents and his twin, barring all social interaction and just hating the world. Or maybe it’s just his personality. Maybe it’s in the genes - he sure is an awful lot like his father, in both looks and mannerisms, that’s what people say.
The few words that do escape his mouth are bitter and sarcastic. Every move he makes is meant to cut a person down - 30 seconds would be all it took for him to make you cry, although he wouldn’t even bother going there. Why would he want to deal with it all anyway? Emotions are messy and seem like a waste of time; he’s sworn off of them completely, except for the small amount of what you could possibly consider affection for his sister, Renee.
Full name: Jasper Keith Averianov
Nicknames: I don’t have any.
Date of birth: July 4th
Sexual orientation: …I don’t have one.
Blood status: Pureblood, I guess?
Colour of the hair: Brown, y’know
Colour of the eyes: Blue, just blue
Wand: 12.5” Holly, Dragon Heartstring
Your wand is longer than average, with a flexible and long-lasting wood. Dragon Heartstring is a common Ollivander core. Your wand is ideal for jinxes and hexes.
House: Slytherin.
Year: Seventh.
Favorite subject: I don’t know, Ancient Runes I guess.
Least favorite subject: Herbology.
Patronus: A field mouse, embarrassing, I know.
Boggart: I’m not afraid of anything.
Amortentia: Cigarettes, rainy nights and something metallic.
Pet peeve: When people try to talk to me, dad when he starts yelling about mom.
Parents: Joseph and Noelee Averianov (née Fogelstrom).
Siblings: Ren, who’s my twin sister. And that's it.
Relationship status: Single.
Interested in: Stuff. I don’t know, I like the stars and the night, I guess.

“I’m selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can’t handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best.”
You could say that Renee Averianov is a bit uptight. You could say she’s bitter, fake, forced. But really, she is who she is and you better deal with it before she cuts your head off. Being your stereotypical Ravenclaw has its perks - sharp mind, sharper tongue. It sure does come in handy when she's arguing with her "older" brother (aka, her twin brother, Jasper). She's always been a bit different, but not really in a bad way. She's just way too intelligent and witty for anyone to handle and it's difficult for people to deal with her.
Maybe if she weren't so smart, people would make sense to her. That's what her mum always told her. But is there an underlying problem here? There has to be something wrong with her that just repels people from her. Making friends has never come easily to Renee -- she just doesn't understand how people function whatsoever. If only she were normal, then maybe she wouldn't be so bitter and fake and unnatural. It'll never happen, so you'll just have to get used to her the way she is.
Full name: Renee Fiona Averianov
Nicknames: There’s not much you can come up with out of Renee - it’s a tad plain, don’t you agree? People call me Ren, Rennie, etc. Call me anything without my permission and your head will be gone.
Date of birth: July 4th.
Sexual orientation: I don't like people at all, honestly.
Blood status: Pureblood, I think.
Colour of the hair: Brown, boring brown, couldn't I be more interesting?
Colour of the eyes: Blue-green, the color of the sea -- I get it from my dad's side of the family, though Mum's eyes are pretty as well.
Wand: 8.5” Mahogany, Dragon Heartstring
Your wand is surprisingly short, with a sturdy, but not inflexible wood. Dragon Heartstring is a common Ollivander core. Your wand is ideal for Transfiguration.
House: Ravenclaw, where the intelligent ones are... sometimes.
Year: Seventh.
Favorite subject: Mostly everything, but my preference is History of Magic because my favorite professor teaches that class. The curriculum is comparable to all the others, easy.
Least favorite subject: Potions, it’s the one thing I can’t seem to grasp! I try and try and try..
Patronus: A sugar glider, cute but feisty.
Boggart: Snakes, the disgusting creatures they are.
Amortentia: Cigar smoke, vanilla, and citrus fruits.
Pet peeve: People who smoke, people who drink, people who don't understand my logic, people in general, my twin brother, muggle telly shows, and oranges.
Parents: Joseph and Noelee Averianov (née Fogelstrom)
Siblings: Just Jasper, he's my twin, and then there's Nevada who might as well be my sibling cause we're around her so much.
Relationship status: Single forever.
Interested in: Quidditch, studying, homework, school, anything but being around Jasper really.

We're supposed to keep moving forward. Our entire lives are centered around this forward motion, but why? Is it to escape that pain that our lovers cause, or to avoid the sting of an old bite? It seems so useless to move forward into uncertainty when we could shift backwards into something we're more familiar with. Some people think of it as trust falls rather than falling forward onto your face, and I am one of those people, surely.
"People come, people go -- they'll drift in and out of your life, almost like characters in your favorite book. When you finally close the cover, the characters have told their story and you start up again with another book, complete with new characters and adventures. Then you find yourself focusing on the new ones, not the ones from the past." -Nicholas Sparks
She had always been ready to move on, but she really wasn't sure how until she was given a little push. She was reluctant to move forward; in fact, some might even say that she wouldn't budge at all until she was thrown head-first into the deep of it. When Noelee left Hogwarts, her world was completely different than anything she'd ever known. She was stressed and couldn't sleep; her relationship was on edge (but managed to survive because they were a team); job hunting and house searching was all she ever thought about, and just living was the last thing on her mind. Joseph was the one who suggested slowing down and smelling the roses to her: "Why can't you just enjoy the things you have and stop looking for more things to worry about?"
The two of them settled down rather quickly after that in a small flat in Paris; it was her favorite place in the world, and that's why they moved there. After all, he'd do anything she wanted him to because they were a team. Maybe that's why when kids came up in conversation, he didn't really fight the idea. He wanted what she wanted, and what she wanted was a baby. He could see that it was all she really cared about right now and everything she'd ever dreamed of. Her childhood stories and lifelong hopes wouldn't mean a thing if he didn't give in.
By the time she was twenty-five, she was pregnant. She was scared, nervous, excited and anxious all rolled into one, and with good reason: being a first-time parent wasn't going to be easy for either one of them. She stopped searching for a job and stayed at home, even as a newly pregnant woman. Maybe that's where she made her mistake.
She lost the baby at fifteen weeks, just past the "safe" mark for miscarriages. Noelee was devastated and didn't want to go on, but Joseph picked her up and carried her along until she was strong enough to stand on her feet again. With the help of her husband, her best friends Nika and Evie, and her sister Fiona, she was able to put the pieces of her broken heart back together again and continue on with life. Maybe it just wasn't meant to be. She found a job and moved forward, but was never really ready to forget.
It was Joseph's idea to try again. They were twenty-seven now, both of them, and they'd been living happily and quietly for a few years now without anything happening. At first she resisted - how could he expect her not to? - but she eventually gave in, thinking that if anything, it was worth another shot. That was probably the greatest decision she'd ever made, because before she knew it, it was happening again. She was pregnant. Twins. It'd come as quite the surprise to both of them; twins didn't run on either side of the family as far as they were concerned. She was scared yet happy, and he supported her every step of the way with everything. He was even willing to get her cheeseburgers and a cup of coffee at four in the morning when she was craving it (which was often). She was a superwoman in his eyes and he was even more super in her eyes. They were a team of superheroes who, maybe, had started to worship each other like cute couples did by now. Maybe that's what being married for eight years did to you.
They were extra-cautious and took everything seriously this time around: no wine with dinner, no sleeping on your side, all of that. Noelee cried nearly every night out of pure terror that she'd lose the twins (or maybe that was just her pregnancy hormones). Luckily enough, everything went perfectly fine this time around and she delivered two beautiful, healthy babies that they named Jasper Keith and Renee Fiona. Her dreams had come true and she was really, truly happy with everything she had. Two newborns was extremely overwhelming, sure, but it was completely worth it when she looked at her baby's smile.
The kids were seven before Joseph and Noelee had their first "real" fight. They argued and screamed and fought and yelled until neither of them could take it anymore, and she walked out the door with her bags in hand. It scared her to be without him, but she could survive without someone to push her through life anymore. She lived with her sister for a year, only seeing him when she had to, to see Jasper and Renee. Visits were short and to the point, taking care of her business and only speaking when necessary. It wasn't long before they figured out that they really couldn't live without each other and she came running back to him, bags in hand and tears streaming down her face: "I love you, I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry." They never fought again.
Their lives went on normally and happily, the children attending Hogwarts as they both ended up with that inevitable magical gene. After a while, Noelee and Joseph considered having more kids but decided against it: they were forty now and it'd be too risky for both her and the baby. They just decided to stay the way they were, a happy family. They visited friends and family every Christmas, making sure to visit the beloved Weasleys (in fact, there was never a Christmas where Noelee wasn't at the Burrow) and they spent every summer spending time between Art and their other professor friends.
There was one year where things were different: they were fighting again, so Noelee took a break from everything and went to stay with Evolet for quite some time. She reconnected with her past love, Jullian, and at the age of 58 she finally realized that as much as she loved him, she had moved on and couldn't go back again. (He agreed, as much as he didn't want to. If she'd actually ended up divorcing Joseph like she thought she was going to, they would have been together once more - but they were a team, and she couldn't leave him like that.)
Joseph and Noelee solved their differences after a year or two and were together and peaceful in the last few years of their lives.
Noelee died peacefully in her sleep at the age of seventy-eight, of natural causes. Joseph followed a week after; his heart couldn't take being without her and he literally refused to go on without her by his side.
“They didn’t agree on much. In fact, they didn’t agree on anything. They fought all the time and challenged each other ever day. But despite their differences, they had one important thing in common. They were crazy about each other.”

It was a cold December night when she finally decided to leave Hogwarts. She was 23, married, and needed an out. There had to be more to life than sorting books for a living just to have an excuse for hanging out with 17-year-olds on the weekends. She hardly saw her husband; it was a rough life for both of them, and quite honestly, she was sick of it. So she wrote her notes to her colleagues, packed her bags and said goodbye to the castle she so loved. Maybe she was choking back tears and feeling broken-hearted, but there was more out there that was worth it. She’d find a new home eventually.
Noelee left her job as a Librarian’s Assistant at the age of twenty-three and finally abandoned the Hogwarts Castle for the first time in her life since she began attending. It was hard for her to deal with it; before, she’d always known that she’d be able to come back, but what about now? Could she still visit? Her mind was completely worn out and she couldn’t sleep for nights after leaving, but she figured out that it was worth it in the end.

She'd find a new home eventually.
Noelee left her job as a Librarian's Assistant at the age of twenty-three and finally abandoned the Hogwarts Castle for the first time in her life since she began attending. It was hard for her to deal with it; before, she'd always known that she'd be able to come back, but what about now? Could she still visit? Her mind was completely worn out and she couldn't sleep for nights after leaving, but she figured out that it was worth it in the end.
She was married by the age of nineteen to a man named Joseph Averianov, a man that she'd dated since her seventh year and fallen absolutely head-over-heels in love with. He was the first man she'd trusted since her first love so long ago and the first person she'd ever run away with. They ran away to travel the world together, something they'd always really wanted to do but never really had the excuse to. They'd do anything for each other, but they didn't worship each other like most couples did; they were a team, they worked together, and that's what they'd always do.
In fact, it was that man who suggested to her that maybe she could leave and they could do the things they'd always wanted: travel, settle down, possibly have a kid or two (even though the thought of being parents terrified them both, Noelee liked the idea, and he liked anything she liked). She was nervous at first, but he gave her the little boost she needed to actually do it. She put in her notice on December 1st and was gone by the first day of winter holidays without saying goodbye to anyone except for Art and Mason (they meant the world to her, and she would have felt bad if she hadn't told them).
It was time to get out and make something of herself, she thought as she sniffled her way through packing and goodbyes. It was time to move forward.
