godling has gotten more and more domineering with rath'li ever since he saw their true aspect. brazen and bold, their hand - now adorned with stroke of fire and talon-touch - snags him by the tail and gives a sharp yank. "... hey," voice still soft as ever, "ah'm talkin' t'ye..." there's humor in their tone, but a sharp glint in their eyes.

he finds himself caught by them. hand to his tail, close enough to the blade they're toying with danger and rath'li grins as he looks over his shoulder at them. he can feel the heat but not the burn, years of exposure to the ro'maki and whatever bullshit magic they worked on him has made him nearly as fireproof as they were.

it would have done them no good to have their war ward burn to a crisp only days after he arrived after all. it was never a kindness that they granted him immunity, just another shackle to hold him down with.

"i saw your mouth movin' but all i heard comin' out wa' bullshit." he's taunting, a flick of his tail to press the razor edge to their delicate wrist. a tease and threat both. long since they've realised what happens when he makes them bleed, what the sight and smell of their burning blood does to him.

"if it wa' just the ro'maki then yeah, ah'd kill 'em all, but it ain't. we've got visitors from off shore, big shots an' their kids. ah know ah'm a bastard but ah don't wanna hurt any little ones." he shrugs, tail stilling once more. it's probably one of the sister clans looking to do some damage without having conferred with his own clan.

at the admittance of the attack he perks up once more, teeth bared in a feral grin. "did they leave a scar? can't believe someone got to jump you an' ah wasn't there wi' pompoms cheerin' 'em on."

"I'm sure someone else would come along. Youse wouldn't need to worry that pretty little head of yours about me." She offers before shrugging. "Just 'cause you're being watched doesn't mean youse can't find a way to do shit. Knowing youse, youse found a way to cause issues... Not that youse should. What if you hurt kids?" The latter part is more of a whisper under her breath than anything else.

"As for me not really. Working and the like. Making sure people stay in line and don't cause me fucking issues, but we both know that's never going to be the case... Someone did attack me the other day, but outside of that 's been normal."
