DIVINE ORDER 66: Teachers Of The Law 1

Gen 18:19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him. KJV

Generation To Generation

A common complain about the system of governance in Nigeria is that “there is rarely continuity”.

This means that commonly, a Government starts a very laudable project but as soon as he leaves office, the next government abandons that project and starts his own.

God has such issues about how humans relay useful information to subsequent generations.

Deu 32:45-47 WHEN MOSES FINISHED RECITING ALL THESE WORDS TO ALL ISRAEL he said to them, “Keep in mind all the words I am solemnly proclaiming to you today; YOU MUST COMMAND YOUR CHILDREN TO OBSERVE CAREFULLY ALL THE WORDS OF THIS LAW. FOR THIS IS NO IDLE WORD FOR YOU – IT IS YOUR LIFE! By this word you will live a long time in the land you are about to cross the Jordan to possess.” NET

Elder Moses was old and at the tail end of his ministry. It is only natural for a normal person to be concerned about what will happen to sanity and order when he is gone.

But the shocking thing was that God and Moses already knew that the people will eventually [yet] disobey the Divine Law.

Deu 31:27,29 I know how stubborn and rebellious you and the rest of the Israelites are. You have rebelled against the LORD while I have been alive, and it will only get worse after I am gone…I am going to die soon, and I KNOW THAT IN THE FUTURE YOU WILL STOP CARING ABOUT WHAT IS RIGHT AND WHAT IS WRONG, AND SO YOU WILL DISOBEY THE LORD AND STOP LIVING THE WAY I TOLD YOU TO LIVE. The LORD will be angry, and terrible things will happen to you. CEV

So, one wonders: “why bother relaying and revising Law to a [foreseen] rebellious people?”.

Well Firstly, if you think of the “parable of the sower”, you’d see that at least, a few will comply with, and assimilate the Divine Law perfectly and by them, do God His due Honour.

Mat 13:8 BUT OTHER SEEDS FELL ON GOOD, RICH SOIL THAT KEPT PRODUCING A GOOD HARVEST. Some yielded THIRTY, some SIXTY, and some even one HUNDRED times as much as he planted! TPT

Secondly, it is of utmost importance to God, that His precepts and Law are Taught and handed down from one Generation to the next, till the end of the ages, whether people would accept them or not.

The process must serve as evidence against defaulting men.

Deu 31:24-26 Now AFTER WRITING ALL THE WORDS OF THIS LAW IN A BOOK TILL THE RECORD OF THEM WAS COMPLETE, Moses said to the Levites who were responsible for taking up the ark of the Lord's agreement, Take this book of the law and put it by the ark of the Lord's agreement, SO THAT IT MAY BE A WITNESS AGAINST YOU. BBE

It is also noteworthy that some in later generations will awaken with some hunger for God, be curious about anything or elements linking to God and they will ask questions.

Deu 6:20 "In the future, YOUR CHILDREN might ask you, 'THE LORD OUR GOD GAVE YOU TEACHINGS, LAWS, AND RULES. WHAT DO THEY MEAN?' ERV

Sadly, such question will only arise if they at least are aware of any laws.

There are subsequent generations along the line, who will hide the Law, mainly because they don’t intend to obey them, and as such, generations after them will be ignorant of LAW.

2Ch 34:14-15 WHILE THE MONEY WAS BEING GIVEN TO THESE SUPERVISORS, HILKIAH FOUND THE BOOK THAT CONTAINED THE LAWS THAT THE LORD HAD GIVEN TO MOSES. Hilkiah handed the book to Shaphan the official and said, "LOOK WHAT I FOUND HERE IN THE TEMPLE—THE BOOK OF GOD'S LAW." CEV

Priests served in the tabernacle for years but never saw the Law, which was hidden or kept under piles of Money in the storeroom. King Josiah’s “House-Cleaning” led to its discovery.

The painful truth is that ignorance of Law does not absolve Man from suffering its consequences - as stated in the same Law - if those statutes are disobeyed.

2Ch 34:24-25 'This is what the LORD says: I'M GOING TO BRING DISASTER ON THIS PLACE AND ON THE PEOPLE LIVING HERE ACCORDING TO THE CURSES WRITTEN IN THE BOOK that was read to the king of Judah. I will do this BECAUSE THEY HAVE ABANDONED ME AND SACRIFICED TO OTHER GODS IN ORDER TO MAKE ME FURIOUS. Therefore, my anger will be poured on this place and WILL NEVER COME TO AN END.'" GW

May this generation of Believers align with God’s Divine Statutes, IN JESUS NAME.

DIVINE ORDER 65: Law Of The Tree Of Knowledge 13

Gen 2:16-17 But the LORD told him, "You may eat fruit from any tree in the garden, EXCEPT THE ONE THAT HAS THE POWER TO LET YOU KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RIGHT AND WRONG. IF YOU EAT ANY FRUIT FROM THAT TREE, YOU WILL DIE BEFORE THE DAY IS OVER!" CEV

CONFLICT OF LAWS 3

There are curses that run with disobedience and rebellion. When people choose to despise God and His ways, and turn to falsehood, they could begin to run stark raving mad.

Isa 66:4 I ALSO WILL CHOOSE THEIR DELUSIONS, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not. KJV

Does that sound like God retaliating?

Yes!

If we refuse to listen and hear God’s voice, He can make us listen and hear other voices, but such as could do us much harm and evil.

2Th 2:10-12 LOST PEOPLE WILL BE FOOLED BY HIS EVIL DEEDS. They could be saved, but THEY WILL REFUSE TO LOVE THE TRUTH AND ACCEPT IT. SO GOD WILL MAKE SURE THAT THEY ARE FOOLED INTO BELIEVING A LIE. All of them will be PUNISHED, because they would rather do evil than believe the truth. CEV

The very scenario that Paul described above, also happened in the days of Daniel, almost exact in nature.

People who deny or reject the Divine Covenant are easily carried away by fables and flatteries, which set their lives in false ascent and confused, vague prowling.

Dan 11:32 "The northern king WILL USE LIES AND SMOOTH TALKING TO TRICK THOSE WHO QUIT FOLLOWING THE HOLY AGREEMENT, so they will sin even worse. But those who know God and obey him will be strong. They will fight back. ERV

Where a Man rejects God and seeks an alternative, more convenient god, the Almighty could multiply his woes by making him pant after everything and call them gods.

Hos 8:11-12 Because Ephraim has made many altars to sin, ALTARS SHALL BE TO HIM TO SIN. I HAVE WRITTEN TO HIM THE GREAT THINGS OF MY LAW, BUT THEY WERE COUNTED AS A STRANGE THING. MKJV

Now that scripture is interesting! God didn’t just give a Command by His Law but even showed Ephraim Great Things like benefits and blessedness of practicing it, but he declined.

Hos 4:17 The people of Ephraim have CHOSEN to worship idols. Leave them alone! GW

The Conflict of Laws does not only imply that you bring up damnable heresies to counter God’s Laws but that eventually, in the minds of men who practice disobedience, lots of conflicts and contentions begin to confuse them and they become depraved and insensitive to good reasoning.

Have you ever considered the world of these Gender Transition people?

Rom 1:23,25 They don't worship the glorious and eternal God. Instead, they worship idols that are made to look like humans who cannot live forever, and like birds, animals, and reptiles…THEY GAVE UP THE TRUTH ABOUT GOD FOR A LIE, AND THEY WORSHIPED GOD'S CREATION INSTEAD OF GOD, who will be praised forever. Amen. CEV

That was the offense of rejecting the Divinely set rule of Nature.

Below is God’s Judgement.

Rom 1:24,27 Therefore God gave them over in the desires of their hearts to impurity, to dishonor their bodies among themselves…And in the same way the men gave up the natural use of the woman and were burning in their desire for one another, men doing shame with men, and getting in their bodies the right reward of their evil-doing. NET

Have you considered the depravity of Gender Reassignment laws?

They don’t say “he” or “she” anymore, but “gender assigned male”, “they/them” etc.

The trash is just too much and sickening. But don’t we know where it all started?

When God gave certain instructions based on His foresight of what the world will eventually become, even Christians still fight it today.

Deu 22: "WOMEN ARE NOT TO WEAR MEN’S CLOTHING, AND MEN ARE NOT TO WEAR WOMEN’S CLOTHING; the LORD your God hates people who do such things. GNB

If people disobey such a simple Law, why should we be surprised when [down the line] multiple human laws are now made to “support” their rebellion?

We may not admit it but if we continue on our usual path of arguments over divine rules, calling them legalism, we could end up under God’s Divine judgement and start propounding depraving ideologies.

May God keep our lives compliant with His Divne LAW, IN JESUS NAME.

DIVINE ORDER 64: Law Of The Tree Of Knowledge 12

Gen 2:16-17 But the LORD told him, "You may eat fruit from any tree in the garden, EXCEPT THE ONE THAT HAS THE POWER TO LET YOU KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RIGHT AND WRONG. IF YOU EAT ANY FRUIT FROM THAT TREE, YOU WILL DIE BEFORE THE DAY IS OVER!" CEV

CONFLICT OF LAWS 2

Now let’s go back to Eden and look closely at that Law (above) again.

Do you see that against the one (1) Law commanding Man not to eat the Fruit, Eve countered with 3 Laws?

Gen 3:6 When the woman SAW that the tree produced FRUIT that was GOOD FOR FOOD, was ATTRACTIVE TO THE EYE, and was DESIRABLE FOR MAKING ONE WISE, she took some of its fruit and ate it. She also gave some of it to her husband who was with her, and he ate it. NET

Eve silenced God’s Warning with her 3-point [mind] argument: (1) Nutrition; (2) Attraction; (3) Wisdom inducement.

So the argument is: “why would God make a Law that denies us such wonderful [abundant] benefits?”.

Anything that would make you disobey a Law must be a “higher” Law. By Principle, only a Law can displace, discard or overrule another Law.

Col 2:8 Beware that no one DISTRACTS you or intimidates you in their attempt to lead you away from Christ’s fullness by PRETENDING TO BE FULL OF WISDOM WHEN THEY’RE FILLED WITH ENDLESS ARGUMENTS OF HUMAN LOGIC. FOR THEY OPERATE WITH HUMANISTIC AND CLOUDED JUDGMENTS BASED ON THE MINDSET OF THIS WORLD SYSTEM, and not the anointed truths of the Anointed One. TPT

Most times a Divine Law is resisted, humanistic “counter laws” are presented as “endless” ARGUMENTS.

It’s like trying hard to present 20 human [sensual] Laws that make one (1) Divine Law look senseless.

Of course, God’s Law is Supreme, and that’s what will be the judge against all who have despised God.

Tit 3:9 But have nothing to do with FOOLISH QUESTIONINGS, and lists of generations, and fights and ARGUMENTS ABOUT THE LAW; for they are of NO PROFIT and foolish. BBE

Many other times Divine Laws are countered, men present stupid QUESTIONS about God’s Laws in attempt to make such Laws look unfair, unrealistic and even wicked.

They are just trying to say that they have better, fairer and more adaptable laws for humanity.

1Co 4:15-16 You may have TEN THOUSAND TEACHERS IN CHRIST, but you don't have many fathers. Through the Good News I became your father in Christ Jesus. So I beg you to be like me. ERV

It is in this context of the “multiplicity of LAW”, when men don’t want to abide by Truth, that they begin to gather countless Teachers, hoping that they will “drown out” the Truth.

2Ti 4:3-4 The time will come when people will NOT LISTEN TO SOUND DOCTRINE, but will FOLLOW THEIR OWN DESIRES and will COLLECT FOR THEMSELVES MORE AND MORE TEACHERS who will tell them WHAT THEY ARE ITCHING TO HEAR. They will TURN AWAY FROM LISTENING TO THE TRUTH and give their attention to legends. GNB

This is why we had many false Prophets in those days: to drown out the True ones.

1Ki 18:22 Then Elijah continued: I am THE LORD'S ONLY PROPHET, but Baal has FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY prophets. CEV

Should we continue to deceive ourselves, pretending that we don’t know that 1 million lies cannot refute, delete or defuse the power of truth?

In Christ, “majority” will never “carry the vote”. One man of truth is stronger that 8 billion lying men.

Do you know that?

Exo 23:2 “You must not FOLLOW A CROWD in doing evil things; in a LAWSUIT you must not offer testimony that agrees with a crowd so as to pervert justice, NET

If any of us claims to be for God, then he must accept and obey every single Law given from only one source and mouth.

Never bother for a 2nd opinion from any other source.

Jas 4:12 THERE IS ONLY ONE TRUE LAWGIVER AND JUDGE, the One who has the power to save and destroy—so who do you think you are to judge your neighbor? TPT

That’s why I love Jehoshaphat, who after listening to the [sweet] ramblings of 400 false prophets, was not convinced till he asked for info from a real Prophet of God.

1Ki 22:7 But Jehoshaphat said, Is there no other prophet of the Lord here from whom we may get directions? BBE

May your ways and Life be a Praise and an acknowledgement of [only] Divine LAW, IN JESUS NAME.

CONFLICT OF LAWS 1

On close examination, you’d realize that Men don’t really chose to be Lawless but just want to modify or “impose” their own Laws, so they commonly add and/or subtract.

Many Christians may not boldly declare their own “modified” laws but they are indeed living by their own rules and don’t really care what anybody says about them.

But they’ll be sorry…

Rev 22:18-19 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy in this book: If anyone adds anything to this, God will strike him with the plagues that are written in this book. If anyone takes away any words from this book of prophecy, God will take away his portion of the tree of life and the holy city that are described in this book. GW

Naturally, there is a “sense” of acceptance by all Men that nothing can exist without Law, but since many are not “comfortable” with the demands of Standard Divine Laws, they simply develop their own laws and defiantly insist on living by those laws.

This is what is called HUMAN PHILOSOPHY.

1Co 1:19-20 As the Scriptures say, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise. I will confuse the understanding of the intelligent." SO WHAT DOES THIS SAY ABOUT THE PHILOSOPHER, THE LAW EXPERT, OR ANYONE IN THIS WORLD WHO IS SKILLED IN MAKING CLEVER ARGUMENTS? God has made the wisdom of the world look foolish. ERV

It’s understandable, where you have men who don’t know God, become argumentative and hence propound senseless ideologies.

But because it is all the manifestation of “Flesh”, you’d see “unbroken” and worldly Christians, taken in the same web.

1Co 2:14 SOMEONE LIVING ON AN ENTIRELY HUMAN LEVEL REJECTS THE REVELATIONS OF GOD’S SPIRIT, FOR THEY MAKE NO SENSE TO HIM. He can’t understand the revelations of the Spirit because they are ONLY discovered by the illumination of the Spirit. TPT

Now, Christians under the influence of Flesh cannot say outright, that they have their own Philosophies and beliefs, so they have surreptitiously coined the phrase: “my personal Opinion” where they have arguments about scriptures and [especially] Rules.

1Co 8:1-2 Now let me address the issue of food offered in sacrifice to idols. IT SEEMS THAT EVERYONE BELIEVES HIS OWN OPINION IS RIGHT ON THIS MATTER. HOW EASILY WE GET PUFFED UP OVER OUR OPINIONS! But love builds up the structure of our new life. If anyone thinks of himself as a know-it-all, he still has a lot to learn. TPT

KJV and many other versions use “Knowledge” in place of TPT’s “Opinion”, but it’s all the same, even as Human Philosophy.

When many Christians don’t want to obey a certain Rule, they claim/pretend that they understand it differently or they have their own opinion.

2Pe 1:20-21 BEING CONSCIOUS IN THE FIRST PLACE THAT NO MAN BY HIMSELF MAY GIVE A SPECIAL SENSE TO THE WORDS OF THE PROPHETS. FOR THESE WORDS DID NOT EVER COME THROUGH THE IMPULSE OF MEN: but the prophets had them from God, being moved by the Holy Spirit. BBE

Well, we’re not really talking about personal scriptural interpretations here, but rather the alterations of Divine Rules to suit personal idiosyncrasies and fuel [cunning] rebellions.

So, what commonly happens is that where one has a LAW that he is not comfortable with, his fleshly mind formulates multiple laws to [surreptitiously] counter and suppress that law.

Eze 2:3-4 He said to me, “Son of man, I am sending you to the house of Israel, to rebellious nations who have rebelled against me; both they and their fathers have revolted against me to this very day. THE PEOPLE TO WHOM I AM SENDING YOU ARE OBSTINATE AND HARD-HEARTED, and you must say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says.’ NET

Many Christians are bold and would readily argue anything that obstructs their “comfort”.

Isa 45:9 Cursed is he who has an argument with his Maker, the pot which has an argument with the Potter! Will the wet earth say to him who is working with it, What are you doing, that your work has nothing by which it may be gripped? BBE

May there not be any “Strange Laws” found under your record, by which you live your Life and serve God your own way, IN JESUS NAME.

COMPLETE LAW 3

Again, I would like to stress that all of creation is set by Laws and Principles, and cannot perform well when they go outside the parameters of their guiding Laws.

Take the concept of Motion and Energy for instance, they only have identity when they are seen operating within their Laws.

So how could Man hope to be without “compelling” Laws?

1Co 9:21 To those who are without the law I became like someone who is without the law. I did this to help save those who are without the law. (BUT REALLY, I AM NOT WITHOUT GOD'S LAW—I AM RULED BY THE LAW OF CHRIST.) ERV

Apostle Paul was sharing the experience of preaching the Gospel to men who never had Mosaic Laws, but he was careful to add that he was strictly under God’s Divine Laws himself.

Even if the Law by Moses was completely abolished, we can’t disregard the fact that Jesus has established Law by the Gospel, can we?

Rom 8:2 For THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT, WHICH BRINGS US LIFE IN UNION WITH CHRIST JESUS, has set me FREE from THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH. GNB

Now that Jesus is the Perfection of the LAW, we can easily be set FREE. Now, in Christ Jesus, the Law makes all Perfect.

But you see, I have a question: if indeed the Law [then] made nothing perfect, as we’ve read from the scripture shown again below, how did people like Enoch experience profound Righteousness and fellowship with the Holy God?

Heb 7:19 FOR THE LAW HAS NEVER MADE ANYONE PERFECT, but IN ITS PLACE IS A FAR BETTER HOPE WHICH GIVES US CONFIDENCE TO EXPERIENCE INTIMACY WITH GOD! TPT

The answer is simple! Jesus is same yesterday, and today, and forever.

Therefore, the true Law of Righteousness, which is according to Faith, came before even the Law of Moses.

The covenant with Abraham was based on that Law, and was before Moses was even born.

Gal 3:8 AND THE SCRIPTURE, FORESEEING THAT GOD WOULD JUSTIFY THE HEATHEN THROUGH FAITH, PREACHED BEFORE THE GOSPEL UNTO ABRAHAM, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. KJV

Before the Law and Gospel came, God manifested the Tenets of the Gospel: “justification by Faith” to Abraham.

So the Law of the Spirit of Righteousness had been manifest to people who had good relationship with God from the beginning.

That Context of “The LAW” made Enoch, Joseph, Daniel, Job etc PERFECT even before Jesus arrived here.

Gen 5:22,24 After that, ENOCH LIVED IN FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD FOR 300 YEARS and had other children…HE SPENT HIS LIFE IN FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD, AND THEN HE DISAPPEARED, BECAUSE GOD TOOK HIM AWAY. GNB

Of course there are Rules to walking with God, aren’t there?

Mic 6:8 You mortals, the LORD has told you what is good. THIS IS WHAT THE LORD REQUIRES FROM YOU: to DO WHAT IS RIGHT, to LOVE MERCY, and to LIVE HUMBLY WITH YOUR GOD. GW

Before Jesus and the Grace dispensation came, many men, Kings and servants of God have been acknowledged as faithful in their walk with God.

They kept the “real” LAW.

Mal 2:6-7 THE LAW OF TRUTH WAS IN HIS MOUTH, AND INIQUITY WAS NOT FOUND IN HIS LIPS: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity. FOR THE PRIEST'S LIPS SHOULD KEEP KNOWLEDGE, AND THEY SHOULD SEEK THE LAW AT HIS MOUTH: FOR HE IS THE MESSENGER OF THE LORD OF HOSTS. KJV

But the contentions between the Flesh and Spirit in Man just keeps disrupting the sweet fellowship men could have with their God, especially when men easily succumb.

Rom 7:22-23 For I delight in the law of God in my inner being. But I see a different law in my members waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that is in my members. NET

That’s how David, Abraham, Jacob and many more, fell into demeaning errors that broke fellowship.

I pray for you beloved: nothing will be able to weaken the fellowship which you are building with God. Rather, it will only get stronger by the day, IN JESUS NAME.

DIVINE ORDER 61: Law Of The Tree Of Knowledge 9

COMPLETE LAW 2

So, we have seen from scriptures that the LAW can make nothing PERFECT, right?

Heb 7:19 For the law has never made anyone perfect, BUT IN ITS PLACE IS A FAR BETTER HOPE which gives us confidence to experience intimacy with God! TPT

The LAW shows how sinful Man can be and how much he’d need Jesus to perfect him. The law formed a Link to be followed and culminates in the coming of Jesus our Lord.

Gal 3:19 WHY then was THE LAW given? IT WAS MEANT TO BE AN INTERMEDIARY AGREEMENT ADDED AFTER GOD GAVE THE PROMISE OF THE COMING ONE! It was given to show men how guilty they are, and IT REMAINED IN FORCE UNTIL THE SEED WAS BORN TO FULFILL THE PROMISES GIVEN TO ABRAHAM. When God gave the law, he didn’t give it to them directly, for he gave it first to the angels; they gave it to Moses, his mediator, who then gave it to the people. TPT

In this context then, the LAW is COMPLETE and PERFECT in itself because it fulfilled - and is still fulfilling - its Purpose to humanity.

Gal 3:24 Wherefore THE LAW WAS OUR SCHOOLMASTER TO BRING US UNTO CHRIST, that we might be justified by faith. KJV

To understand the LAW and Christ better, you need to think of the creation of Man and Woman again.

The Man was created PERFECT as an entity but with a NEED (Woman).

Then a Rib - forming a Link - was taken from him to form and bring the Woman to him.

But for the Man to PROCREATE and PRODUCE, the Woman will have to “perfect” his efforts.

Mat 5:17 “If you think I’ve come to SET ASIDE the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets, you’re mistaken. I HAVE COME TO FULFILL AND BRING TO PERFECTION ALL THAT HAS BEEN WRITTEN. TPT

Now, somebody may ask: “but why would God create people naked and declare such perfect; is it not rather the wearing of Clothes that would make them look perfect”?

Gen 1:31 And God saw everything that He had made, and BEHOLD, IT WAS VERY GOOD. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. MKJV

If you think about it, would you say that God wears Clothes or needs to wear clothes?

When He appeared to Moses and showed His backside, do you think there was clothing?

Exo 33:22-23 and before I PASS BY IN ALL OF MY SHINING GLORY, I will put you in a large crack in the rock. I will cover your eyes with my hand until I have passed by. Then I will take my hand away, and YOU WILL SEE MY BACK. You will not see my face. CEV

I don’t think God ever needs to wear clothes because he is all covered in Glory. That is the way of Spirit beings.

I think all Moses saw of His back was yet that great shinning Glory.

Most times God is described with Clothes, it’s actually the descriptions of spiritual Values.

Psa 104:1-2 Praise the LORD, my soul! O LORD my God, you are very great. YOU ARE CLOTHED WITH SPLENDOR AND MAJESTY. YOU COVER YOURSELF WITH LIGHT AS THOUGH IT WERE A ROBE. You stretch out the heavens as though they were curtains. GW

I also believe that when Jesus was described with a ROBE in Revelations, it was mainly to portray the concept of the Priestly Robe that Men were charged to wear in Office.

Rev 1:13 and in the midst of the lampstands was one like a son of man. HE WAS DRESSED IN A ROBE EXTENDING DOWN TO HIS FEET AND HE WORE A WIDE GOLDEN BELT AROUND HIS CHEST. NET

So, I believe that creating Humans NAKED was perfect because if they were indeed created in God’s Image, then they had Glory covering them.

When they ate the fruit, they were simply exchanging God’s Glory for physical clothes, like replacing GRACE with WORK.

It is like women shaving off their natural eyebrows and deciding to use eye pencil instead.

Rom 1:23 and CHANGED THE GLORY OF THE INCORRUPTIBLE GOD INTO AN IMAGE MADE LIKE CORRUPTIBLE MAN, and birds, and four-footed animals, and creeping things. MKJV

COMPLETE LAW 1

The Principal point by which the devil deceived Eve, was convincing her to believe that her Destiny was being Deprived.

She got to the point of accepting that she was “missing out” on something really grand. That made the Divine Law look like a diminishing implement.

Gen 3:4-5 The snake replied, "THAT'S NOT TRUE; YOU WILL NOT DIE. GOD SAID THAT BECAUSE HE KNOWS that when you eat it, YOU WILL BE LIKE GOD AND KNOW what is good and what is bad." GNB

It must [indeed] take a master conman to convince Man that the one “restraining” Law, which forms only about 1% of all Laws, is what makes his life incomplete if given regard.

But we can’t totally blame satan over man’s failure, and this is why…

Gen 3:6 WHEN THE WOMAN SAW that the tree produced fruit that was GOOD FOR FOOD, was ATTRACTIVE TO THE EYE, and was DESIRABLE FOR MAKING ONE WISE, she took some of its fruit and ate it. She also gave some of it TO HER HUSBAND WHO WAS WITH HER, and he ate it. NET

Before the Woman ate the Fruit, she took time to convince herself that she was about to take the right step.

Note that her own convictions (Good & Attractive food) came before the “deceiving point” (become like God).

So, did their disobedience make them complete?

Gen 3:7 THEN THEIR EYES WERE OPENED, AND THEY BOTH REALIZED THAT THEY WERE NAKED. They sewed fig leaves together and made clothes for themselves. GW

Beloved, it is actually WHEN you disobey God’s Laws that you FEEL incomplete. When you are living in contravention of Divine Rules, you always have a sense of nakedness & fear.

Gen 3:10 The man answered, "I was naked, and when I heard you walking through the garden, I WAS FRIGHTENED AND HID!" CEV

Sinners are always petrified whenever they sense or see evil around them, why?

Their lives are a confirmed portrait of enemies of, and rebellion before God.

Heb 10:26-27 For IF WE DO EVIL ON PURPOSE AFTER WE HAVE HAD THE KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT IS TRUE, there is no more offering for sins, But ONLY A GREAT FEAR OF BEING JUDGED, and of the FIRE OF WRATH which will be the DESTRUCTION OF THE HATERS OF GOD. BBE

Even when you keep all Laws except just one, you will feel uncomfortable and unfulfilled.

Mat 19:16,20 Now someone came up to him and said, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to gain eternal life?”…The young man said to him, “I have wholeheartedly obeyed all these laws. What do I still lack?” NET

The “one Law” you failed to keep could make you feel like you’ve kept none at all.

Jas 2:10 You might follow ALL of God's law. But if you fail to obey ONLY ONE command, you are GUILTY OF BREAKING ALL THE COMMANDS IN THAT LAW. ERV

Meanwhile, we all should know that in a broader context, the “Law of Moses” is imperfect.

Heb 7:18-19 For there is verily a DISANNULLING of the commandment going before fOR THE WEAKNESS AND UNPROFITABLENESS thereof. FOR THE LAW MADE NOTHING PERFECT, but the bringing in of a better hope did; BY THE WHICH WE DRAW NIGH UNTO GOD. KJV

This is the Context of LAW where men attempt to make themselves “clean” before God, through ORDINANCES of goat’s blood and and endless sacrifices.

Heb 10:3-4 As it is, however, THE SACRIFICES SERVE YEAR AFTER YEAR TO REMIND PEOPLE OF THEIR SINS. FOR THE BLOOD OF BULLS AND GOATS CAN NEVER TAKE AWAY SINS. GNB

The intent of LAW was to show MAN his weakness, and how much they needed God.

Gal 3:19 WHAT, THEN, IS THE PURPOSE OF THE LAWS GIVEN TO MOSES? THEY WERE ADDED TO IDENTIFY WHAT WRONGDOING IS. Moses' laws did this until the descendant to whom the promise was given came. It was put into effect through angels, using a mediator. GW

We started making a salient point with ONE LAW 2 and I want us to look at it again now.

Mat 22:36 Master, WHICH IS THE GREAT COMMANDMENT IN THE LAW? KJV

Sometimes, the most important factor is not about how it can stand apart from the rest but about how much the rest depend on it and can crash if that one point is ever omitted.

I love watching Dominoes crumble when just one piece is tipped. The LAW can be like that.

Mat 22:37-38 Jesus answered him, “‘LOVE the Lord your God with every passion of your heart, with all the energy of your being, and with every thought that is within you.’ THIS IS THE GREAT AND SUPREME COMMANDMENT. TPT

Mat 22:40 ALL of Moses' Teachings and the Prophets DEPEND ON THESE TWO COMMANDMENTS." GW

Again, the intriguing thing about this 1 Greatest LAW is that it appears in every other Law.

Mat 22:39 And the SECOND COMMAND is like the first: 'LOVE your neighbor the same as you love yourself.' ERV

This 2nd [greatest] Law wasn’t part of the [Moses’] 10 Commandments but Jesus succinctly summarized about 7 Laws, bringing out the “cementing” and underlining point: LOVE.

Rom 13:8-9 Let love be your only debt! IF YOU LOVE OTHERS, YOU HAVE DONE ALL THAT THE LAW DEMANDS. In the Law there are many commands, such as, "Be FAITHFUL in marriage. Do not MURDER. Do not STEAL. Do not want what BELONGS TO OTHERS." But ALL OF THESE ARE SUMMED UP in the command that says, "LOVE OTHERS AS MUCH AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF." CEV

I want us to do some bit of “Scriptural Mathematics” shall we? Now, how seriously does the Commandments depend on LOVE?

Mat 22:40 CONTAINED WITHIN these COMMANDMENTS TO LOVE you will FIND ALL THE MEANING of the LAW and the PROPHETS.” TPT

The “Meaning” of all the Law & Prophets are found “within” Love, and Love is God, right?

1Jn 4:7-8 Dear friends, we must love each other because love comes from God. EVERYONE WHO LOVES HAS BEEN BORN FROM GOD AND KNOWS GOD. THE PERSON WHO DOESN'T LOVE DOESN'T KNOW GOD, because God is love. GW

Alright then; if you don’t have LOVE, you don’t KNOW God. But what does the LACK of knowledge of God do to you please?

Joh 17:3 And ETERNAL LIFE means to KNOW you, the only true God, and to KNOW Jesus Christ, whom you sent. GNB

You can’t enter heaven to meet God except you get to know Him first. Now, by the Law of Proportionality or Equality, what is another way to Eternal Life please?

Joh 14:6 Jesus replied, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. NET

So then, JESUS is the LOVE-LAW of God, extended to us and by whom we connect and Know God, so that we can make heaven.

Do you see the beauty of scriptural cycle? Everything keeps coming around to JESUS.

Joh 3:16 For this is how much God loved the world—he gave his one and only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life. TPT

So beloved, if Adam and his wife had Loved the Lord dearly, they shouldn’t have disobeyed Him.

If they at least respected and honoured a God who took time to visit them, they shouldn’t have betrayed His trust and companionship.

Isa 1:2 LISTEN, HEAVEN, AND PAY ATTENTION, EARTH! The LORD has spoken, "I RAISED MY CHILDREN AND HELPED THEM GROW, BUT THEY HAVE REBELLED AGAINST ME. GW

Every time I read the scripture above, my heart goes out for our Father and I wish I could fully comprehend the depth of the pains of being betrayed.

Why would the Supreme God be reporting His children to the elements?

The indications of the ONENESS of God’s Divine BOOK OF LAW are quite copiously and elaborately displayed all over scriptures, at least for those who care to LOOK when reading.

This is why it is advisable to read the Word with an open mind rather than to read “the secrets of being successful” or “principles of multiplication”. you will simply get “lost”.

Joh 5:39-40 “You are BUSY ANALYZING THE SCRIPTURES, FRANTICALLY PORING OVER THEM IN HOPES of gaining eternal life. EVERYTHING YOU READ POINTS TO ME, YET YOU STILL REFUSE TO COME TO ME so I can GIVE YOU THE LIFE YOU’RE LOOKING FOR—ETERNAL LIFE! TPT

Everything we read about Patriarchs, the SEED, Branch, Kings, Priests, Prophets and Laws, all Point to Jesus, who is the ONE LAW that ties together all scripture and gives Eternal Life.

Joh 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER BUT BY ME. MKJV

Some of us get distracted when we read some scriptures, thinking the “focus” is isolated.

Jos 1:8 BE SURE THAT THE BOOK OF THE LAW IS ALWAYS READ in your worship. STUDY IT DAY AND NIGHT, and make sure that you obey everything written in it. THEN YOU WILL BE PROSPEROUS AND SUCCESSFUL. GNB

Many Christians read that verse and [mostly] want to equate it with Financial & Material wealth, along with good health and long life to “cap” it all.

In the Spiritual stance however, what do you [really] think God counts Prosperity and [good] Success as?

Psa 119:9 HOW CAN A YOUNG MAN STAY PURE? ONLY BY LIVING IN THE WORD of God and walking in its truth. TPT

Now, is PURITY proportional to Prosperity & Success before God?

Think carefully please.

1Pe 3:3-4 DO NOT LET YOUR ORNAMENTS be THOSE OF THE BODY such as dressing of the hair, or putting on of JEWELS OF GOLD OR FAIR CLOTHING; But LET THEM BE those of the UNSEEN MAN OF THE HEART, THE EVER-SHINING ORNAMENT OF A GENTLE AND QUIET SPIRIT, WHICH IS OF GREAT PRICE IN THE EYES OF GOD. BBE

Now, whom would you have resembled with the image of a Gentle and Quiet spirit please?

Mat 11:29 TAKE MY YOKE ON YOU AND LEARN FROM ME, BECAUSE I AM GENTLE AND HUMBLE IN HEART, and you will find rest for your souls. NET

I have just used some cross reference to show you how scriptures start with Jesus and runs all the way back to Him.

Now, WHO does the cleaning of the young man in Ps 119:9?

Eph 5:26-27 TO MAKE US HOLY AND PURE, cleansing us THROUGH THE SHOWERING OF THE PURE WATER OF THE WORD OF GOD. All that he does in us is designed to make us a mature church for his pleasure, until we become a source of praise to him—GLORIOUS AND RADIANT, BEAUTIFUL AND HOLY, WITHOUT FAULT OR FLAW. TPT

Do you know why worldly riches is too minute on the scale of prosperity in God’s eyes?

Rev 21:21 The 12 gates were 12 pearls. EACH GATE WAS MADE OF ONE PEARL. THE STREET OF THE CITY WAS MADE OF PURE GOLD, as clear as glass. GW

You’ve not seen original Gold till you see those in heaven.

That’s why we’re born with nothing and have no need to go back with anything. There’s much more than enough there.

1Ti 6:6-7 DEVOTION TO GOD IS, IN FACT, A WAY FOR PEOPLE TO BE VERY RICH, BUT ONLY IF IT MAKES THEM SATISFIED WITH WHAT THEY HAVE. When we came into the world, WE BROUGHT NOTHING. AND WHEN WE DIE, WE CAN TAKE NOTHING OUT. ERV

So beloved, JESUS is the “One Stop” LAW of Righteousness and the ticket to heaven.

If any of you has an argument over this, I have no other answer but these same scriptures and many more.

I have no “Mentor” but Jesus; He trained me and these are my lessons.

Act 5:42 And daily in the temple, and in every house, THEY CEASED NOT TO TEACH AND PREACH JESUS CHRIST. KJV

That is why the Good News must always be JESUS CHRIST, the Author and finisher of our Faith. He is the LAW, the Obedience and Fulfillment of it.

ONE LAW 2

We are still [generally] talking about Family here and are reviewing how LAW started from the home unit and spreads to the world.

We are simply stating here that even before a Man starts his family, he must be made to understand Limits and Boundaries and must be the one to teach it to his family, while ensuring that they all uphold the Divine precepts.

Gen 18:18-19 After all, Abraham is going to become a great and mighty nation and through him all the nations of the earth will be blessed. I HAVE CHOSEN HIM SO THAT HE WILL DIRECT HIS CHILDREN AND HIS FAMILY AFTER HIM TO KEEP THE WAY OF THE LORD BY DOING WHAT IS RIGHT AND JUST. In this way I, the LORD, will do what I have promised Abraham." CEV

But let us leave generalizations for now and complete what we’ve started with ONE LAW.

There is a mysteriously perfect way that God’s WORD connect with each other thoroughly and precisely, such that as you mention one, you are actually mentioning all.

Mat 22:36 Master, WHICH IS THE GREAT COMMANDMENT IN THE LAW? KJV

We have discussed earlier that EASY LAW is the context in which God presents to us Commandments that are not GRIEVOUS but rather beneficial.

People however, have their own context in which they like to view “EASE”; they want one [simple] Law they can obey that will [hopefully] absolve them the responsibility over all other laws.

Mat 19:19-20 honor your father and mother, and love your neighbor as yourself.” The young man said to him, “I HAVE WHOLEHEARTEDLY OBEYED ALL THESE LAWS. WHAT DO I STILL LACK?” NET

This Young rich Ruler’s story is rather fascinating. He had actually kept most of the common laws but yet wasn’t happy or fulfilled within. He kept having the nudge: “there’s something missing”.

Beloved, that’s how the ONE LAW works: you can’t leave one out and be fulfilled. You will always have the sense that you are lacking something vital.

Mat 19:3 And certain Pharisees came to him, TESTING HIM, and saying, IS IT RIGHT for a man to put away his wife FOR EVERY CAUSE? BBE

You see, the bible states here that they came to TEST Jesus, but the underlining motive is their sense of guilt over a vital Law they have surreptitiously crippled.

They couldn’t rest.

Mat 19:7-8 The Pharisees asked Jesus, "WHY DID MOSES SAY that a man could write out divorce papers and send his wife away?" Jesus replied, "YOU ARE SO HEARTLESS! THAT'S WHY MOSES ALLOWED YOU to divorce your wife. But FROM THE BEGINNING GOD DID NOT INTEND IT TO BE THAT WAY. CEV

Only a heartless devil would even suppose that God would approve divorce just “for any reason”. They [probably] kept some of the other laws and hoped they are thence “covered”.

An adulterous man will bring fat offerings to build the Church Cathedral, “believing” that his adultery will be overlooked on judgment day.

What arrant nonsense!

Mat 19:7 They responded, “SO THEN WHY DID MOSES COMMAND US TO GIVE A CERTIFICATE OF DIVORCE AND IT WOULD BE LAWFUL?” TPT

Another point you see here is that every sinner would look for someone to blame for his “omission” in the Law.

Notice how they said: “Moses Commands” and never that “we convinced Moses to see reason with us”.

They were also trying to implicate Jesus, because they noticed how He upheld the Divine Mosaic Laws.

Mat 5:18 Remember that as long as heaven and earth last, NOT THE LEAST POINT NOR THE SMALLEST DETAIL OF THE LAW WILL BE DONE AWAY WITH—not until the end of all things. So then, WHOEVER DISOBEYS EVEN THE LEAST IMPORTANT OF THE COMMANDMENTS and teaches others to do the same, will be least in the Kingdom of heaven. On the other hand, whoever obeys the Law and teaches others to do the same, will be great in the Kingdom of heaven. GNB

Some men pretend not to understand CONTEXTS of scriptures when they come for “counseling”, looking for a Pastor to implicate.

May we never be caught is webs of wickedness, and may we not be snares for righteous men, IN JESUS NAME.

ONE LAW 1

We were saying, that all Adam had to do was to obey one (1) Law, which stands at about 1% of instructions he got. But there is a context where commandments of God must be seen as a Unit, Singular LAW.

Read this again please…

Jos 1:8 THIS BOOK OF THE LAW shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it by day and by night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall act wisely. MKJV

Why was it called the Book of THE LAW and not the book of Laws?

Firstly, everything God does and/or says is as good as a Command. He is the Supreme and Eternal Authority.

Isa 14:27 WHEN THE LORD ALL-POWERFUL MAKES A PLAN, NO ONE CAN CHANGE IT. When he raises his arm to punish, NO ONE CAN STOP HIM. ERV

Everything God purposes, decrees and executes, is to be taken as unquestionable and unalterable because it is simply as potent as a demanding and compelling statute; a LAW.

Gen 1:3 Then God COMMANDED, "Let there be light"—and light appeared. GNB

KJV and many version used: “God said”, but we all know that saying was a command, right?

2Co 4:6 FOR GOD, WHO COMMANDED THE LIGHT TO SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. KJV

The first WORD that God gave Man was a command, though it sounded like mere talk.

The “blessing” was actually a Spiritual Decree, akin to that by which creation was executed.

Gen 1:28 God BLESSED them and said, "BE FERTILE, INCREASE IN NUMBER, FILL THE EARTH, AND BE ITS MASTER. Rule the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that crawl on the earth." GW

Secondly, the “INSTRUCTION” for Adam to “eat” is as good a Command as the “WARNING” not to eat. “You can eat these” and “you can’t eat this” are both commands.

Gen 2:16-17 Then the LORD God COMMANDED the man, “YOU MAY freely eat fruit from every tree of the orchard, BUT YOU MUST NOT eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will SURELY DIE.” NET

One big problem with humanity is that where you are instructed to DO something you hate doing, or you are prevented from doing something you Love to do, then you see a Burdensome Law.

If however, what you are “told” to do is something you Love, you see “Privilege” and experience joy.

Consider these points about the Prophet Jeremiah.

Jeremiah's mandate brings him hateful storms he would rather avoid, but cannot.

When he is sent to speak sweet words to these same people however, his joy knows no bound.

Jer 31:24-26 "People in all the towns of Judah will live together in peace. Farmers and those who move around with their flocks will live peacefully together in Judah. I will give rest and strength to those who are weak and tired." AFTER HEARING THAT, I, JEREMIAH, WOKE UP AND LOOKED AROUND. MY SLEEP WAS VERY PLEASANT. ERV

His reaction is quite understandable though but we must realize that every detail of God’s Word is interdependent and hinges on each other.

If one fails, all are affected somehow.

Jas 2:10-11 IF SOMEONE OBEYS ALL OF GOD'S LAWS EXCEPT ONE, THAT PERSON IS GUILTY OF BREAKING ALL OF THEM. After all, the one who said, "Never commit adultery," is THE SAME ONE WHO SAID, "Never murder." IF YOU DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY BUT YOU MURDER, YOU BECOME A PERSON WHO DISOBEYS GOD'S LAWS. GW

In a human body, if all other organs except the Liver, are in perfect condition, the Failed Liver will still kill the Human. All the other perfect organs will die together suddenly.

I pray that the Book of THE LAW will be Honourable in your home, IN JESUS NAME.

Gen 2:16-17 But the LORD told him, "You may eat fruit from any tree in the garden, EXCEPT THE ONE THAT HAS THE POWER TO LET YOU KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RIGHT AND WRONG. IF YOU EAT ANY FRUIT FROM THAT TREE, YOU WILL DIE BEFORE THE DAY IS OVER!" CEV

GOOD LAW

I will like us to start this session with the scripture [again] that we read in closing last time.

Deu 4:8 Or WHAT OTHER GREAT NATION has SUCH FAIR LAWS AND RULES AS ALL THESE TEACHINGS I am giving you today? GW

Apart from the Laws being a blessing, like King David pointed out, Moses indicated the fairness of all the Laws & Rules.

No other “Great Nation” has comparable laws as God’s. It’s easy to deduce because we are talking about a flawless, infallible and perfect God, right?

Deu 32:4 He is the Rock; HIS WORK IS PERFECT. FOR ALL HIS WAYS ARE JUST, A GOD OF FAITHFULNESS, AND WITHOUT EVIL; JUST AND UPRIGHT IS HE. MKJV

You know, it is rather unjust on human’s part when we consider that we have a God who easily answers our prayers when we call on him, but we consider His laws a burden.

Deu 4:7 "No other nation, no matter how great, has A GOD WHO IS SO NEAR WHEN THEY NEED HIM AS THE LORD OUR GOD IS TO US. HE ANSWERS US WHENEVER WE CALL FOR HELP. GNB

So if God had given all good things and riches to Adam, apart from blessing him specially, why would the same God thence give a Law that is a detriment to the same Man?

Selah!

Gen 2:16 Then the LORD God commanded the man, “You may FREELY EAT fruit from EVERY TREE of the orchard, NET

When a man is given total liberty and restriction in [only] 1% of all benefits, is he limited in any way?

Only the Laws of Men are imperfect and always subject to review and alterations because men are [mostly] incapable of seeing all the parameters involved in making Laws.

1Sa 14:28-29 Then a soldier told him, "YOUR FATHER SWORE THAT ANYONE WHO ATE FOOD TODAY WOULD BE PUT UNDER A CURSE, and we AGREED not to eat. THAT'S WHY WE'RE SO WEAK." Jonathan said, "MY FATHER HAS CAUSED YOU A LOT OF TROUBLE. Look at me! I had only a little of this honey, but already I feel strong and alert. CEV

King Saul, out of zeal and unchecked excitement, made a Law with demeaning and destructive implications - if flaunted - aimed at achieving a goal with undivided focus, but which ended up making the goal impossible to attain at the long run.

Jonathan didn’t know about the Law and his indirect disregard actually proved the stupidity of the Law.

1Sa 14:27 But Jonathan, having NO KNOWLEDGE of the oath his father had put on the people, stretching out the rod which was in his hand, put the end of it in the honey, and put it to his mouth; THEN HIS EYES WERE MADE BRIGHT. BBE

Secondly, Men make Laws with selfish motives in mind and less care about others.

For instance, a man forces his son to study Engineering just because that will give his family name some honour, not because the boy was “cut out” for the course.

Very confusing!

Heb 12:10 For they disciplined us for a little while AS SEEMED GOOD TO THEM, but HE DOES SO FOR OUR BENEFIT, THAT WE MAY SHARE HIS HOLINESS. NET

There is no way you disobey God’s Law and it proves to be unfair. Rather, keeping God’s Laws will only truly prove to people that we are the best set of Humans to reckon with.

Deu 4:5-6 "I taught you the laws and rules that the LORD my God commanded me. I did this so you could obey them in the land you are ready to enter and take for your own. Obey these laws carefully. THIS WILL SHOW THE PEOPLE OF THE OTHER NATIONS THAT YOU ARE WISE AND SENSIBLE. They will hear about these laws and say, 'TRULY, THE PEOPLE OF THIS GREAT NATION ARE WISE AND SENSIBLE.' ERV

It is only God’s Divine Laws that produces obvious unprecedented and definite results.

Jos 1:8 Be sure that the book of the Law is always read in your worship. Study it day and night, and MAKE SURE THAT YOU OBEY EVERYTHING WRITTEN IN IT. THEN YOU WILL BE PROSPEROUS AND SUCCESSFUL. GNB

It is in our own best interest to rather commend God’s Laws than to decry it. Like David, it helps you assimilate the Law and appreciate its benefits when you have appraised it copiously.

May God help us all see the goodness of the Divine Law, IN JESUS NAME.

EASY LAW

It’s baffling that many times, the things that end up implicating Men are the simplest things.

1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and HIS COMMANDMENTS ARE NOT GRIEVOUS. KJV

If you were freshly employed by a Company and they took you round and read you the “dos & don’ts”, it can’t be about harming or hurting you, right? Otherwise, they don’t want people to work with them then.

The RULES are to help put you at your best in productivity.

Psa 19:7-9 The LAW of the LORD is PERFECT, CONVERTING the soul: the TESTIMONY of the LORD is SURE, making WISE the simple. The STATUTES of the LORD are RIGHT, REJOICING the heart: the COMMANDMENT of the LORD is PURE, ENLIGHTENING the eyes. The FEAR of the LORD is CLEAN, ENDURING for ever: the JUDGMENTS of the LORD are TRUE and RIGHTEOUS altogether. KJV

It is very fascinating to discover more and more why David is called a “Man after God’s heart”.

This is a portion of scriptures where you see a Man express excitement in the Divine Laws. He observed the Law and found it to be extremely beneficial.

What about you?

Psa 19:10 MORE TO BE DESIRED ARE THEY THAN GOLD, YEA, THAN MUCH FINE GOLD: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. KJV

Do you read this scripture often, beloved? Can an average Christian “swear” that seeking God’s Commandments and Laws is more precious to him than the best form of Gold & Honey?

I don’t think so.

With the kind of Gospel we hear today, that is clearly far from our Focal Point.

This is what an average human/Christian wants; God showed us clearly…

1Ki 3:10-11 THE LORD WAS PLEASED that Solomon had asked for THIS, and so he said to him, "Because you have asked for the Wisdom to rule justly, INSTEAD OF LONG LIFE FOR YOURSELF OR RICHES OR THE DEATH OF YOUR ENEMIES, GNB

Many Christians wants to live long to enjoy abundant riches, and wants all enemies who would hinder them from getting and enjoying those riches in peace, to “die by fire”.

True or False? (100 marks).

King David discovered that to seek [arduously] the Divine Laws and statutes that WARNS you, is far better than seeking things that give you vague pleasures.

Psa 19:11 MOREOVER by them is thy servant WARNED: and in KEEPING of them there is GREAT REWARD. KJV

“Moreover” means besides all the blessings mentioned earlier. Do you think the “Great Reward” is talking about Riches still?

Well I think reward mentioned here is that of drawing closer to God and enjoying the Pleasures of His Divine Presence always and forever.

John 14:21,23 The person who has my commandments and obeys them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I WILL LOVE HIM AND WILL REVEAL MYSELF TO HIM.”…Jesus replied, “If anyone loves me, he will obey my word, and my Father will love him, and WE WILL COME TO HIM AND TAKE UP RESIDENCE WITH HIM. NET

Of course, if indeed the reward of keeping God’s commandment is getting rich and famous, then all Christians will be keeping it, won’t we?

So, what was the “great” Law that God gave to Adam that was found [too] difficult to keep please?

Gen 2:16-17 The LORD God commanded the man. He said, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden. But YOU MUST NEVER EAT from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil because when you eat from it, you will certainly die." GW

When you are given total freedom and space to do what you like but are only restricted from just a tiny portion of the space and from tasting what is no more tastier than all other free food you have been given, how could that have been a difficult Commandment please?

Deu 4:8 Or what other great nation has SUCH FAIR LAWS AND RULES as all these teachings I am giving you today? GW

DIVINE ORDER 53: Law Of The Tree Of Knowledge 1

Gen 2:16-17 But the LORD told him, "You may eat fruit from any tree in the garden, EXCEPT THE ONE THAT HAS THE POWER TO LET YOU KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RIGHT AND WRONG. IF YOU EAT ANY FRUIT FROM THAT TREE, YOU WILL DIE BEFORE THE DAY IS OVER!" CEV

You know, it would be an insult to God, to ask if putting the Tree of Knowledge in the Garden of Eden was fair and sensible.

People - even Christians - have been bold to ask however, why the Temptation?

Then we have had people say that if Man had not eaten for Knowledge, how would he be able to invent and manipulate the Earth’s Materials?

Too many questions have arisen from this issue but let’s go through scriptures to answer some.

Act 15:28-29 “For it pleases the Holy Spirit and us that we not place any unnecessary burden on you, EXCEPT FOR THE FOLLOWING RESTRICTIONS: Stay away from anything sacrificed to a pagan idol, from eating what is strangled or with any blood, and from any form of sexual immorality. You will be beautiful believers if you keep your souls from these things, and you will be true and faithful to our Lord Jesus. May God bless you!” TPT

Firstly, it is in perfect ORDER to have Restrictive Rules in any System.

Your Drug directions leaflet should always include “Contraindications”, showing errors when misused.

Your Car Manual books must have “Warnings”, indicating dangers of misapplications. Any Product you buy must have Rules about Abuse, that can void “warranty” if disobeyed.

Act 15:28 The Holy Spirit and we have agreed not to put ANY OTHER BURDEN on you besides these NECESSARY RULES: GNB

Take note, that the Necessary Rules are indicated as a “Burden”. That is how people tend to see Rules; nobody really wants to be restricted in any way.

Man would just love to enter his Car, press down the Accelerator to the floor, go to sleep and be told later: “you have arrived at your destination”.

Indeed, God wants us all to be Totally Free, doesn’t He?

Gal 5:1 WE HAVE FREEDOM NOW, BECAUSE CHRIST MADE US FREE. So stand strong in that freedom. DON'T GO BACK INTO SLAVERY AGAIN. ERV

FREEDOM must have INSTRUCTIONS to ensure that you REMAIN Free.

Give a man absolute freedom to do whatever he likes, he would soon end up a slave through abuse.

The share “sense” of “unrestricted Liberty” commonly makes most men drunkenly mad.

Jdg 17:6 In those days Israel didn't have a king. EVERYONE DID WHATEVER HE CONSIDERED RIGHT. GW

Kings, in their kingdom, are placed for establishment and upholding of LAW & ORDER.

Pro 20:8 A RIGHTEOUS KING sits on his judgment seat. He scatters evil away from his kingdom by his wise discernment. TPT

That’s why Democracy has become the most popular form of Governance all over the world.

It’s a government of the people, by and for the people, so Laws & Rules are hoped to be the least “imposing” because people would much rather prefer to be “Lawless”.

1Sa 15:15 Saul answered, "MY MEN TOOK THEM FROM THE AMALEKITES. They kept the best sheep and cattle to offer as a sacrifice to the LORD your God, and the rest we have destroyed completely." GNB

God instructed Saul to destroy all Amalek and all they had, but the people of Israel imposed their own will on Saul and he complied.

That cost him the kingdom forever. This means that if both King and people will not be subject to God’s Laws, they are “disowned”.

1Sa 12:14-16 If you and your king want to be followers of the LORD, you must worship him and do what he says. Don't be stubborn! IF YOU'RE STUBBORN AND REFUSE TO OBEY THE LORD, HE WILL TURN AGAINST YOU AND YOUR KING. CEV

The Law of the Tree of Knowledge of Good & Evil was the first “thou shalt not” that Adam received, even before his wife was created.

Before he started work at all, God showed him around his “workstation” and gave him these rules.

Don’t we do that in work places today?

Gen 2:17 BUT YOU MUST NOT EAT FROM THE TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL, for when you eat from it you will surely die.” NET

We will discuss much later over why God had to give the Man [first] the Law of the Tree.

I pray that God will make our hearts very malleably responsive to His Divine Laws, IN JESUS NAME.
