Catalog doodles + pillow doodles

I’ve decided to make my artstyle more “rubbery”/ “thicker” for animations sake, since i’m more used to frame by frame animation. These doodles were done mostly as my refrence sheet for him. There’s gonna be a separate page for his pages and abilities but that’ll come later.

There’s a few of changes from the original version but I’m happy with how things are so far

As for the other doodles….

Decided to play around with Pillow’s design.

I’m seriously considering having her join Taggy and Book in a poly relationship shortly before Catalog is born. Pillowbooktag confirmed?!

Totally not working on a Booktag fanchild, no wayyyy

Anyways her name is Catalog and they’re the world’s greatest item collector. (self-proclaimed title)

His ability, “summoning items at a cost”, is actually super complicated because I love making stupidly complex abilities.

It’s inspired by that one scene in “The Disastrous Life of Saiki K” where…uh okay I forgot what happens (I can’t find the clip) but I remember he was trading stuff for coffee jelly so yeah.

More on that later, If I get too carried away i’ll type an essay.

Hitching a Ride

This isn’t really meant to be ship art, I just wanted to draw my main favs/comfort characters being besties. However CabTag is a super catchy name and I love it.

I needed to practice with colors while forcing myself to draw, and I found this was the best way to do it. I also rewatched III while drawing (and now I love Cabby even more)
