So excited to see Season 3 of the Netflix adaptation of A Series of Unfortunate Events! I’m so happy to see “the woman with hair but no beard” and “the man with beard but no hair”, who are almost exactly as I imagined them, with twisted hairstyles and a dark “Edward Gorey” vibe.

I think it’s gonna start some interesting discussions when season 3 airs, because it gets them in the right path to organically grow into this mindset that certainly doesn’t come out of nowhere or as abruptly as it does in the books. ( or at least I perceived it that way, I may be completely wrong, I read them months ago ).

It’s very clear that Handler took the chance to rewrite his own work the way it was always supposed to be so - questionable season 3 decisions aside - I’m trusting him.

Possibly an unpopular opinion but Meryl Streep was a great Josephine - possibly a little too pathetic but I kinda prefer her to what we got in the show (the destruction of her house was definitely better) plus she has a cooler window

I dislike movie Josephine a lot no matter how good Streep is.
