I'm not planning on making many posts about Hazbin Hotel since I have way too many personal complaints about. so many decisions. but I talked about this to my sibling and I think it's worth posting about to blow off steam.
Katie Killjoy being voiced by Brandon Rogers feels a Lot like some shitty last minute decision that they pulled out due to short staffing. it's just not fitting for the character at best, and honestly.. a lot like an accidental dig at the trans community at worst. female characters being voiced by men isn't new nor inherently problematic but when it's such a overtly hyperfemme character who's openly cruel and such a masculine voice with no effort towards sounding feminine it's like. dude. it comes off as "look at this woman with a man's voice isn't that funny !!!!"
