Project 7 of Spellbinders 2021 new releases. This is the Spellbinders Daffodil/Narcissus and Antique Vase with Honey Bee Dies from Susan Tierney Cockburn Garden Club. They were colored with Copic and Arteza markers. The vase was created with a Gelli press and acrylic paints. The frame was created with Carta Bella Paper and CardStock warehouse. This paper project was inspired by all the women in my life who have natural green thumb: palmy (mom), Nancy (Phil’s mom) and my daughter @zojonez. The project was created with Spellbinders Geranium and Antique Wooden Bucket Dies and the Lily of The Valley dies from Susan Tierney Cockburn Garden Club. The frame was made with Anna Griffin and Cardstock Warehouse card-stock. The brick pavement was created with Panpastels, Ranger distress ink and a stencil by Tim Holtz. The bucket was made using my Gelli press birdhouse method. Tutorial video (How To Make A Rustic Wood Print For Anna Griffin's Birdhouse Easel Cards Gelli Press Technique) is in my bio. I also used a mixture of embossing powders to create a rust look for the handle. The geraniums where hand colored with Copic markers and Arteza Twi markers. Here is the last Merry Stitchmas Collection share. This card was made with Spellbinders Diamond Stitched Etched dies, Christmas Traditions Paper Pad and Cardstock Warehouse Crystal and green card-stock, which is amazing to hot foil on! 🤩 The sentiment was created with the Holiday Florals Background glimmer hot foil plate from the Christmas Traditions Collection. To be honest this was the first project I had made with the stitch dies and I did not understand that I could use embroidery thread with the dies. When I finally got the stichmas was a play on words for stitching I really felt dumb.🤣 But now after making 2 cards with the stitching I am glad this one has no stitching. The best thing about the Merry Stitchmas dies is how beautifully the different dies in this collection pair and compliment each other. This time I chose to create a quick and easy card with minimal stitching. I die cut the Stitchmas Tree with Cardstock Warehouse Crystal card stock and stitched with embroidery threads in Red and Green. The Circular Stitch Background was die cut without the frame on Hygloss Metallic Foil Board Sheets in Red. The sentiment is from the Mini Christmas Sentiments embossed with red embossing powder.
