I ran into a wild hypno last week and it defeated my pokemon, i have been sleeping terribly ever since. Nightmare after nightmare... How do i fix this?

Call the rangers if you know where it is. If not, invest in a musharna. Or a therapist.

If you won a sweepstakes and obtained a lifetime supply of one of the major regional snacks (Alola’s various Malasadas, Johto’s Rage Candy Bars, Unova’s famous Castelia Cones, etc) which snack would you choose?

This is a cruel thing to ask, expecting me to choose. I love sugar.

I think I have to pick malasadas. I have only had them once, but I remember them vividly.

How do electric types not get struck by actual lighting all the time??

I am not a physicist, but my guess is that containing electricity doesn't attract electricity. A lightning rod is more likely to be struck than your rotom phone. They just stay on the ground to avoid it.

Unless its pikachu. They love being struck by lightning.

Mimics natural migration patterns. Drastic change in location and environment is a helpful jolt.

I don't particularly care for eevee or its evolutions. I own an espeon.

Are eevee actually smart? My friend says they are, but I think his just evolved to be smart. Like, he read books to it every night until it actually turned into an umbreon. What's a NORMAL eevee like

That is not how umbreon evolve. Your friend's eevee likely just really enjoyed the regular bonding activities. It cannot understand the concept of reading or what a book is or what your friend was even saying. It just likes to feel included, like most social pokemon.

Pokemon intelligence is a complicated subject that is difficult to separate from our own biases (as we too are creatures on this planet). Eevee can problem solve and use tools in laboratory settings, but besides specially designed testing equipment I have never personally seen a domestic one figure very much out.

I am sure no small part of it is because of how they are bred. Why waste time on an intelligent (destructive and high maintenance) creature when you could have one that does nothing but sit on your lap all day and look cute? The species as a whole may be capable of these things, but I have doubts about most pets. Still, it is worth investigating. Puzzles are great enrichment even if they can't figure it out.

As much as I want to fight Rowan, I think I could take Sycamore. He seems weak.

I mean, on the bright side, I'm also pretty sure I heard about someone stealing one of the costumes and using it to help kick a bunch of Rockets out of the radio tower or something.

I heard that guy was a bad person, actually. And those "Grunts" (extremely short-term Goldenrod employees) should be allowed back into Johto. Just a thought.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I heard something about a photo booth in Goldenrod City where you can dress up as a Team Rocket Grunt. I dunno if it's still there, but I'm pretty sure I've heard of it.
