So I wrote my first fic, cute friendship, reader fluff🥰

Please don’t judge me to hard it is my first fic.

Home away from home

“You guys hang tight, we’ll be back” John B says as he hooks the pogue to the dock. You guys were planning a bonfire, just for the pogues. Pope, jj, and John b ran into the store to grab beer, while kie, yourself and Sarah stayed and chilled on the pogue. Life as a pogue has been thrilling and you enjoy being around this group of people. They bring out the best in you, so naturally, you’ve been missing from your home for a few days. You know your mom and brother are worried but they don’t understand, “You think they’ll get the right beer” kie says breaking your train of thought. “Probably not, they took jj inside with them” you girls share a laugh as the boys return to the boat. “What are you guys laughing about” Jj says as he put the beer in the boat, the wrong beer I might add, and that sends you girls into a frenzy of laughter, just knowing, is what made it more funny. Jj looks at you girls with so much confusion “how much of my shit did you guys smoke?” He says making you and Sarah laugh harder, causing kie to respond “What makes you think in the 2 minutes you were in the store that us girls smoked your stuff?” Kie says as you and Sarah continue to laugh. Jj ignored kies comment and went straight for a beer as he opened it he broke the laughter “so y/n, I know you love slumming it with us, but don’t you think you should give your folks a call? They might be worried- “ you cut him off “no, they don’t understand, All they will do is gaslight me into coming home and I don’t want to. Let’s just go chill, pogue style” and with that everyone shrugged and went on laughing and drinking.

Back at the chateau, the fire was going, the music was playing softly, pope and John b were play fighting, while kie and Sarah were in some deep conversation. You looked around for jj and couldn’t find him, till you looked at the dock and saw the beautiful blonde boy standing by himself, rolling a joint. He looked deep in thought and you couldn’t help but get up and walk over to him. Over the last few weeks, you have noticed yourself gradually pull towards him, you think about him when he’s not around, or you find yourself staring at him when he’s not paying attention. As you walk down the dock towards jj, he turns to see you coming. “Hey y/n, I figured you would be the one to come find me” you smile, knowing his words meant more than it seemed. “I wanted to make sure you were okay, and I could smell the weed from down the dock, figured id invite myself, no fun smoking alone” he laughed, knowing between all of us pogues, me kie and jj were the only ones willing to get “creative”. “You know y/n, I can’t help but feel like there is something more between you and I” this statement shocked you a little bit, you thought you had kept your little crush to a minimum to avoid pogue on pogue macking, but he must have noticed. Before you could respond, we hear what sounds like dirt bikes. When you look from the dock, you see topper, rafe and Kelce coming in hot. “ oh shit” you and jj say at the same time, you both look at each other and then start sprinting toward the chateau.

As you were reaching the fire pit, you hear topper say to Sarah, “so you are just slumming it up like a slut” and with that John b went into a rage and tried to punch topper for saying what he said, and with that punch, it was full on pogue and kook brawl. Topper beating the shit out of john b, Kelce throwing jj around like a rag doll and pope is going for round 4 with rafe, unfortunately for the boys they were not winning. Kie and yourself couldn’t take it anymore, they had to figure out a way to get the kookiest of kooks off their bestfriends or they were going to kill them. So you did what any right minded person would do, you ran straight for kelce to get him off of jj, but while kelce was in the moment with beating jj, he threw his arm back and elbowed you straight to the face, causing your nose to start bleeding. “Are you fucking kidding me” you say as you touch your hand to your now bloody nose. Jj was not happy in the slightest with you getting hit, he managed to over come kelce, and gave him no remorse, “ALRIGHT JJ, He’s had enough” kie yells as jj is moments away from killing this man. John b and pope had left rafe and topper lying on the ground from there beatings after over coming them and ran over to get jj off of kelce. “NOW GET THE HELL OFF MY PROPERTY” John b screams as him and pope manage to get jj off of kelce. The kook boys run back to there bikes not without saying something of course, “Sarah, you know you don’t belong with them, you need to come home, this little game you are playing isn’t going to end well for you” rafe says as he gets on his dirt bike with a bloody face, and without another look they left, they will most likely be back, but with more kooks. “Why am I always the one to get hit in every scenario” you say as jj gives you a hand off the ground and checks for any damages beyond just a bloody nose, “I can’t believe that crazy kook actually hit you” John b says “he will get what’s coming to him” jj retorts back while still looking at you, “Are you okay?” Jj whispers to you, “never better” you say with a little bit of sarcasm. With that the pogues went back to drinking their beers and laughing at each other for getting their asses beat again, but with all the dumb pogue vs kook stuff you wouldn’t change this group of people for the world. They were your home away from home.
