neopets is literally so funny because its meant for kids but has a whole-ass stock market, a betting ring where you bet on what pirate will win the food eating competition thats so complex most people just copy their bets off of someone who understands it better, an economy thats in shambles, multiple games that a child would have zero interest in like bullshit and solitaire and like a fucking business management simulator that lasts for a whole month?? everyone on it is an adult now and the forum filter is so bad we cant say grape, cucumber, skill, analyze, basement, uncle for whatever reason?, or death, die, and dying even though neopets touches upon death fairly frequently, and we were only allowed to talk about being trans and gay like 2 months ago even though you can have your gender listed as "other"
