The Rules:

Every twenty-four hours there will be another round. After every round, the character in last place will be eliminated.

If there are multiple characters tying for last place, there will be a special elimination round. In these rounds, every character in last place will be eliminated, even if all the characters have tied equally.

When there are only two characters remaining, they will face off against one another in a week-long poll to determine the victor.

If the character that you consider the hottest isn't listed here, hit the 'what about ___???' option and reply to this post with the overlooked character. The character with the highest 'write-in' votes will be added to the next round. Unless the 'what about ___???' option is the least voted for, in which case it will be eliminated. Welcome to the party, Han and Cassian!

Kylo Ren #4 (3.5 hr version)

Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, battered and beaten, hair tangled, freshly scarred brow knitted over downcast bruised eyes and furiously scarlet marred cheek, long dented nose leading to his mouth pulled tight in a muted grimace. 

Stripped of his mask, his vulnerability revealed, this time in color. 

This is posted separately from the 2 hour version, because it really is a separate entity unto itself, and I wanted to let that other, rougher, version stand on it’s own recognizance. When I first decided to paint this, my plan was to keep it monochrome, which suits the broody nature of both his expression and the pose. And for the purposes of the 2 hour challenge that I started this for, that worked well; monochrome is always faster than color for me, I got to the end of the two hours and had something I could be happy with.

But the more I looked at it, the more I felt that I needed to include the livid bloom of those bruises, the angry edges of his wounds, the small indignity of that red dent on his nose from an ill-fitting mask. So much of Kylo Ren is defined by the damage he’s sustained, and these physical wounds echo the ones inflicted upon his spirit. And for that I needed to use color.

So I did.

About 3.5 hours for this version, I needed about 90 min more after the allotted 2 hours for the Cherry Pop Challenge to clean up a few details, and get the color overlays and textures the way I wanted.
