Real life sucks, guys, burdening me with all those real-life responsibilities at most inappropriate time! Luckily, that crap is finally over and I’m ready to go on with all this post-ruin!redemption!Nox thing.

There are already some really nice questions! I’m just gonna wait a bit to see if there are more like those, so that I can group them into a more-or-less consistent piece of storyline.

There are no certain rules as for what to ask, but I’ll generally pay more attention to those messages which help develop the plot. A Word From Mod

As a kind of introduction: hello, guys, it’s gaiachthonia speaking! Some of you may have noticed me on your dash a couple of times with my arts of Asra, but not so long ago I’ve realised that I want to do something more than just occasional drawings.

Yes, just as I’ve promised, I’m opening an ask blog for Nox.

You see, I’m a big fan of Starbound and of Asra in particular (yes, I have some weird tastes in terms of favourite chars). However, I’m really disappointed by the fact that the devs didn’t seem to bother much with her backstory, motives and personality, leaving a number of logic holes. That’s why I’ve started exploring all  information I could find about Asra, trying to connect the dots.

And, well, now I have a more or less coherent storyline and a whole bunch of headcanons and theories that I have to share with you. Obviously, everything that will happen on this blog is not a part of canon. It’s much more of an AU.

Things to remember:

The story is set after the main events of Starbound, but I expect that there will be frequent flashbacks.

Although in-game!Asra bears strong hate towards other races, this blog is not about hate. It’s about understanding, learning on your mistakes and overcoming your flaws. After all, I really want Asra to be redeemed.

The blog is in development, and I’m still adding more features.

I am not a native English speaker, that’s why there may be some mistakes in terms of grammar or word choice.

The ask box is already open. However, I’m going to make one more introduction strip before dealing with actual questions.
