“was it really that bad? i mean— i had fun, the place seemed kinda cool but have it your way then, we can do something more fun next time and not something that’s so scary.” looking away from her, he looks around their surroundings, scanning in every corner just to see if they had been caught sneaking in the old building, luckily it was just to of them; attention over at her, looking down at her as he raises his brows and for a moment he was sure he had seen some color on her cheeks, or maybe it was just the streetlamp they were standing underneath. “i’m not too tired but i can walk you home, unless you wanna come to my place and sleep next to me.” and there he was, teasing her.
the pad of her thumb pressed firmly into the back of his palm —— a subtle gesture to bring his attention to their interlocked hands. meanwhile her gaze shifted upward to the night sky, the sight causing a pleasant swell in her chest. ( ironic that she hated the dark yet loved the night sky ) a scoff vibrated in her throat. more like he had fun making her jump every five seconds. though his following statement did little to help the color that warmed her skin. ❛ sleep next to — honestly, koda. you need to stop saying things like that ! what if i agreed, huh ? ❜ there’s no denying that she was itching to say yes to just throw him off. and that there was an underlying desire to learn what it would be like sleeping in his arms but that was beside the point.

《 ※ 》 THAT’S IT. THAT’S all he can handle until laughter penetrates the air and into the mic. He’s holding his stomach, feeling it tense with each sound of amusement echoes in the wall that surrounds him. ❝ I’m just playin` Britt, ❞ he manages to add in as he tries to calm himself down. ❝ You didn’t happen to record that did ya ? ❞ Yes, it was bad that he was laughing at someone else’s misfortune and yes it was equally bad that he asked if she or someone caught that whole incident on camera, but one had to make sure with this day and age. Everyone recorded practically everything with this generation of technology. Besides, he’s pretty certain it would be more hilarious to watch it, than how he’s picturing all of it in his mind.
all the while during his fit, the only sound that could pass by her lips was a single noise of disbelief. ( way to make her feel awful for nothing ! ) tongue swiped across her bottom lip with a shake of her head as the upper part of her body relaxed in her chair. ❛ do i seem like the type to be constantly on snapchat or somethin’ to you ? of course, i didn’t. ❜ there’s a deliberate knock of her nail against her microphone to cause an uncomfortably loud noise to transfer though. ❛ you’re the worst. ❜
