Reblogging from my main blog, but here's my finished National *LIVING* Pokedex! I'm working on acquiring all the alternate forms of Pokemon at a slow pace, meaning basically that I'll finish that bit when I feel like it. I haven't had a completed National Pokedex since Platinum, and I've NEVER had a living Pokedex before.

You end up with a maximum of 31 boxes + your Battle Box, for a maximum of 930 Pokemon in game. :D

Is there a limited number of how many Pokemon you can save in your in-game boxes?

I'm going to keep my Shiny Value up on my blog so that any trainers who still know the values of their eggs can contact me to have them hatched, if they match mine. Just because we don't have a way to figure things out anymore doesn't mean they changed all the numbers.

Honestly, it was nice while it lasted, and though I got no shinies out of it myself, I was very happy to help the people I could. And I got Pokedex entries out of it, so it was kind of a win-win.

We could've guessed that TPTB were going to patch the whole thing eventually. The Battle Analyzer was probably just the straw that broke the camel's back. It was innocent enough just checking those values, but people with power are gonna use that power, and it's everyone who gets affected.

Ah well.

((Just bought Pokemon X!))

((I'm going to be doing a Wonderlocke/Wonder Trade challenge on Pokemon X while I wait for the Poke Bank to release later this month! Those posts will be tagged 'CalypsoLocke', just like my trainer in game.

The rules I'm following will be the basic Wonderlocke/Wonder Trade challenge rules:

Pick my starter

Catch 5 more Pokemon

Wonder Trade them out (only once! But I'm allowed to Wonder Trade again if I get a duplicate)

Use those 6 Pokemon only to finish the game

I'm changing the rules on fainting a bit. If a Pokemon faints, I will Wonder Trade it out immediately after battle and continue on with whatever Pokemon I got.

I've never done a Nuzlocke/Wonderlocke challenge of any sort, so this will be very fun and interesting for me.

No one who plays Pokemon X and Y has a 6 IV Ditto, though. At the very most you might find one with 4 perfect IVs, but the chance of finding the 6 IV Ditto is 1 in like, millions.

Will trade shiny Beautifly for 6 IV Ditto :U I also have some Vivs if you want them.

#Pokeddexy: Day 4 - Favorite Electric type - Zekrom! I could go the route more taken and say the Mareep evolution line. I do love them lots, they're so darn cute, but I loved Zekrom's design in Pokemon Black/White.

I don't think Misdreavus is obtainable in Pokemon X and Y yet.

This is a really dumb question, but does anybody have a misdreavous they’d be willing to trade in x or y? I can give you a pokemon with pokerus if you’d like

I don't remember how many times you have to encounter them in the wild. I've heard as many as 11 times before it finally flies to the Sea Spirit's Den, where you can finally encounter and catch it.

It means that Mega Gengar is banned from battles where you're allowed to use Pokemon in the OU category, /IF/ you play by Smogon's rules.

Can someone explain to me exactly what gengarite being banned from ou means?

Seconded! I've never been a user of Dragon-types as well, but I love Dragonair's elegance. I wish she evolved into something a bit more... elegant.

The second I saw Yveltal in pre-release footage I knew that Y was going to be the game I got because this 'bird' is so damn gorgeous. I'm such a sucker for the red/black color combo. 

I currently use Yveltal on one of my battle teams. It makes a good stall wall.

I had to think pretty hard about what my favorite bug is. I'm a big fan of Fire-types in general, and lately Volcarona has crept up the ranks of my favorite Bug-types to come out on top. I'm currently training a Larvesta for my all Fire-type team, and I own a shiny Volcarona already.
