yesterday I was looking through the folder with bleach manga pages and i literally cried with fucking tears.. I can't just... this unconditional love that explodes inside of me every time...

Cooking is Gale's second passion, so I think he likes to do everything with his own hands - without magic. Therefore, he easily teaches Yenna how to cook (she is good at it). But Detlaff doesn't like to get dirty in ingredients and all that (but he wants to be with his husband and daughter!!!!!), so he casts spells and just watches them.

This is got long. I got passionate a bit.

Other than the usual misunderstanding of him being slimy ( it was a bug, get over it people)

The main thing I usually see people misunderstand is him being power hungry. He's not power hungry, he's a people pleaser who is lashing out by going to the other side of the spectrum becoming selfish and stupid.

People always think that he looked for the netherese orb to dethrone Mystra when he explains in detail he wanted to return it to her as he thought it was a weave (A venture that was brought to my attention later was one of Mystra's chosen's duties)

He gets abandoned for a year by his goddess. Captured by mindflayers and tadpoled on his attempt to find a cure/suicide mission. He finds out Mystra knew trouble was brewing and decided that yea the best way to fix this shit is to kill yourself (idk at some point sounds like it was premeditated).

Then he finds out that the reason Mystra reached wasn't due to the goodness of heart to give Gale a chance of forgiveness but actually to prevent possibility of a new god being born. That she never gave a shit about Gale but was focused on her power being threatened.

I would be pissed too honestly and out of pettiness I would also go: "Yea, you know that new god birth you tasked me to prevent. Well, I'm doing it now. You thought you fixed it. NO! You directly influenced me to become a new god. Suck it."

His real fatal flaw that could be mistaken for power hunger is curiosity (or hunger for knowledge). That man wants to try almost everything just to know about it or see the results. He is so curious it's dangerous.

I had two main images for mommy Dekarios: the one i drew and some soft small round ol' mom.

but since in the endings with Gale's death and becoming deity, Tara says that Mrs Dekarios misses him deeply, despite of how clean and quiet it has become after his departure.. it's more than just loving mom

it's the 2 opposite moods like loving and scolding at the same time, so its more vibe that mommy is a strict one, yet very loving (and maybe overprotective)

so this image is more accurate to my current headcanons 🤲
