"There is being jade?" A extraordinarily tall woman in a dark kimono said, as she approached the curator. Oddly, she had dark skin and hair, with piercing gold eyes. Her accent was thick, but it was difficult to place where it was from. She looked well-put-together, but something about her eyes felt like she wasn't upper class.
"I would be being interested in seeing these pieces." (Ray'je @raging-soul-of-fire )
"Oh! Well certainly you may see these jade figures, they are a popular display in the Hall of Oddities. They are very well crafted, they give off a bit of a lovely sheen in the sunlight." Nafiif makes her way to said hall and gestures the other to follow."

"I wasn't aware they were the real deal. There are many replicas I've come across, I was under the impression these were some of the most faithful recreations of such things."

This kettle was struck by a ballista bolt in a pitched naval battle between two nations. The war and battle were only about an hour long."

It is said that there were generals in ancient times that consulted a mighty armored bird for advice on which battles they should take and what tactics they should use. "Ah yes the Hall of Oddities, a lot of the pieces on display are of historical note with unusual or humorous stories behind them. Others are merely things that are interesting but may not hold much value beyond that. For example I have a collection of jade statues that are said to have made with a fragment of divine power but any inspection, magical or not doesn't come up with any conclusions. They are quite lovely nonetheless."
