I wanted to wait until the moment came and passed before I said anything. My sophomore year of high was rough. My mom lost her job and so much was happening with me. My brother really wanted a dog and, as a family, it was decided that it’s what we really wanted. After going to a shelter and looking, we had one in mind but after certain things that needed to happen, this little ball of love walked into our lives. This was ours. Niko spent days wanting to lay with us, be with us, and it was perfect in that moment. Needless to say that the years that followed were, let’s say the most hectic with Niko. Even though he attached to mom and was her fur baby, he was always just cute, adorable little thing to cuddle and lay with when she wasn’t there. The last couple of weeks have been hard with him. After a couple of seizures, it was discovered that cancer was creeping its way into my life once again. So, it was decided that Niko needed to get his well-deserved sleep. This was one of the best photos I have of him when we first got him. It will be how I remember him. Take care of Izzy and continue to be that cute, adorable furball. I did not get a little crazy with some coke. For some reason, our house has been attacked by fleas. So with the help of Borax, Baking Soda, and Peppermint Oil to get rid of all of it. God Help Me!
