Shawn hears a gunshot from the bank after the police arrive and tensions are high as they try and keep the situation calm. When Shawn gets inside he sees Gus holding his arm and rushes over to him. It's only a graze but it makes Shawn's heart race and his blood boil.

I'm thinking about making an au of Gus Walks Into a Bank where it's a serious thing and Shawn freaks tf out more than he did in the show.

He makes his way inside the bank and tries his best to assess the situation. He finds Gus and almost immediately runs to him checking him over while trying to find a way to get them out of there. I want to make it serious like a Yin and Yang thing where Shawn is terrified by the end of it and all he can do is hold on to Gus and apologize. The fear making him finally make a move and kiss Gus with all that he has and Gus is shocked but it's not bad and all Shawn can do is whisper his name against his lips as if it were a dream.

Snippet of a thing I'm writing!

"C'mon babygirl," Shawn said casually the word falling out of his mouth as if it were nothing but it hit Gus like a ton of bricks. Heat shot through him and his face got warm and he tried not to show how it affected him holding his chin high since Shawn had said it to tease. And of course Shawn with his stupid detective skills just couldn't miss it. "Oh. You like that, babygirl?" he said taking a step towards Gus.

"Shut up, Shawn," Gus said quickly trying to ignore how much higher his voice was at the moment. Why did they have to do this now? He put his hands up as Shawn started to crowd into his space hands that were now on his chest feeling how his warmth radiated. His heartbeat under one of his palms, strong and steady and Gus was glad after all the shit they pulled but also mad because he could feel his own heartbeat pound in his ears and it wasn't fair. Shawn's hands grabbed his waist not for the first time and not for the last either as Gus turned his head.

"C'mon... Admit you like being babygirl. My, babygirl," he said leaning in and Gus shook his head.

"Nuh uh. I'm never admitting that," he said but it was weak. He really really liked the idea and Shawn knew he was just teasing... Again.
