You can find the register of interests for the Australian federal parliament here and find out! It'll show you all the properties they own and if they're to live in or if they're investments.
That way you know which politicians stand to directly benefit financially by keeping rents high and housing unaffordable for the rest of us and then VOTE THEM OUT!
Be open to the possibility that people are speaking nicely about you behind your back. People are conspiring about ways to help you. People advocating for you. People are genuinely rooting for you behind your back.
This is part of my ongoing Discworld jacket embroidery project. Of course Great A'Tuin has to be on there. And of course it has to be the biggest one of them all.
I'm going to put the finished product in my masterpost, but I'm so proud of the thing that I have to put it in an extra post beforehand. Enjoy!
At some point in your life, you were taught that being slightly annoying is an unforgivable sin. Maybe it was by your parents or a teacher or a friend or a bully or an older sibling. But someone taught you that being slightly annoying is a crime punishable by death.
You must unlearn this.
You must accept that all people will be annoying at some point or another in their lives, maybe all of their lives, and that this is okay. It is okay for strangers on the bus, it is okay for children in the grocery store, it is okay for people on social media, and it is okay for you.
If you ever want to truly love your fellow humans, if you ever want to truly love yourself, you must have forgiveness for being annoying.
finally started a combospin, really enjoying the fluff and the colors. i am a little bit worried that this yarn may turn out less purple and more general color riot, but I'm sure it'll be fun in the end so we're sticking with it.
spinning thicker singles for a 3ply worsted (ish?) yarn is a challenge though! kinda struggling to keep it even, brain wants to go thinnnnnn. it is nice to see how fast it spins up though, even if i have to give my body lots of breaks.
Gradient spin challenge! I have personal notes about this one, but I still really like how it came out.
