season one of supernatual is so funny to me. sam and dean will literally show up to the crime scene in some fuck ass flannels and dean is in his leather jacket and the cops are like "who the hell are you?" and dean will be like "oh, us? well we are obviously from the us fish and wildlife service who else could we possibly be???" 

meanwhile theyre in the craziest outfits known to mankind with no badge or anything, so the cops will ask for their IDs and they'll hand them the most unconvincing fake id you'll ever see. the thing will be crumpled to no return and look like it was all hand written by a toddler and SOMEHOW THE COPS STILL BELIEVE THEM??

and then, they'll start questioning the victims family like "aw man :( I'm so sad for you :( that must be really hard :( so like what happened? and on a completely separate note, did you see anything? feel a temp drop? did you feel a cold spot? did you see something weird? like a creature mayhaps? like a ghost? did you see a ghost? do you believe in ghosts? please tell me it's a ghost?" like that's a totally normal line of questioning for a random drowning from two members of the us fish and wildlife service.

You ever think about how they just put a bat into Shane Taylor’s very British hands and said “swing.” Like this man had no idea what he was doing and yet he SERVED. Like it was an awful swing but it was believable.

players have a bunch of teammates they're close to over the course of their careers but like. you only get one at the beginning. that one guy you're coming up with, called up with, who is bright and starry eyed and dumb with you. so when you tell your young gun stories over a barbecue years later when that guy is 2 divisions away or a career ahl-er or out of the game there is a part of you that is 21 eating chicken nuggets in your car together foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

thinking really long and hard about Joseph Liebgott and his rage and his sadness and long nights spent in his cab trying to forget the hell he's seen and the sins he's committed and all the things that could have been and all the people who should be here but they're not, they'll never be here again so he keeps driving and driving, never eating never sleeping just driving and picking up strangers who don't understand what it was like out there what it was like to see streets lined with bodies and men with their souls ripped out of them and he wants to hate them but he can't, there's no more hate in his soul to dish out, its all left in France and in Germany and in all the shallow graves of the men he's killed so he keeps driving and driving screaming into the abyss of his despair to all the friends he's left behind
