My first Milky Way shot of the season as it's starting to be visible on the East coast early in the morning. It was pretty hazy at 5am, but clear enough to be photographed. The two bright stars you see are actually two planets. The one closer to the horizon is Venus and the one a bit higher is Jupiter. If you take a closer look you can also see a few meteors in the top left corner. The image is composed of two frames one for the sky and one for the foreground. It was a pretty nice morning and had lots of fun with @v_baobab_v shooting in Long Island. January 2019 Lunar Eclipse also called Super Blood Wolf Moon. I wish I had some more stars behind it but as you may know due to extreme light pollution in big cities, the stars are not as visible. There is a good part though, I was able to shoot it. Early in the day the sky was covered 100% with thick clouds and the forecast was not favorable at all but eventually it started to clear up. It's been a while since I photographed then night sky. This is a picture I shot two nights ago on a moonless sky from a parking lot in Queens🤦‍♂️. Orion Nebulae is one of the brightest Messier objects hence easier to shoot on a light polluted sky as we have here in the city. And a bit more info for some geeky fellows.
