Bklyn Boihood is where “black, brown queer and trans bois*” can follow, cultivate, or show off all kinds of creative work. Their offline events are mainly held in Brooklyn, but their online presence is here for anyone who could benefit from their expressive, welcoming atmosphere.
My Kid is Gay (@mykidsgay)
If you’re a kid who just came out to your parents (or you want to soon), think about sending them to this nice informational hub. It was created by the same people behind fan-favorite Everyone is Gay (@everyoneisgay). We hope your parents support you no matter what and love you unconditionally always. If you can, let them know educating themselves can go a long way, too—especially if they’ve never been exposed to conversation around queer culture.

The Advocate was founded in 1967. They’re celebrating 50 years of continuous publication, 50 years of fighting for what is right, 50 years of making sure you stay in the know. Give this downright historic publication a follow to interject a little news on your dashboard.

Do you feel abandoned or hated by God because you are Gay?
-Deuteronomy 4:31 - The Lord your God is merciful; God will not abandon or destroy you.
Are you tired of hearing that AIDS is sent by God to destroy thr LGBTQ+ community?
-John 3:16 & Matthews 8:3,7 - God loves us- and sent Jesus: Jesus came to Earth to heal us, not commend us.
Have you been banned or kicked out of church for being LGBTQ+?
-Matthews15:6-9 & Matthews 22:39 - Some churches are misguiding and dont teach God's true message of love
Did God really destroy Sodom and Gomorrah because of homosexuality?
-Ezekiel 16:49 - God destroyed the cities becuase the people were corrupt, rude, and inhospitable, not for being gay.
Do you feel unloved? Are you afraid that God will reject you?
-Jeremiah 1:5 - Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.
God teaches us Christians to not judge and love thy neighbor. Yet why are you hating on other people? I have always heard being gay is the same as being a murderer. A sin is a sin in gods eye. Yet everybody sins. You dont hate ones neighbor just because they told a little fib, dont ya? Why hate someone for loving the same sex? These are all reasons why LGBT can be Christians. To those who believe otherwise. I did my research. I rest my case. I myself am a Christian and also in the LGBT community. Thats why i took the time to prove through Gods word that i am loved by Him as much as He loves everyone else.
