I really don't care about the book/system (well I'm interested obviously, I just mean I like hearing about it regardless) but I do miss the more journal with me style videos that featured more working in/with your books and less talking about them. They were nice for body doubling. No pressure or anything because I just rewatch those ones when I need, but if you're still taking ideas

ah i was actually thinking about making one today! my voice still hasn’t come back but it’ll depend on if the dog wants to cooperate 🥲 if she sits quietly i’ll film some planner decoration and a small bit of archiving with no talking in the background, just ambient noise. if not i’ll definitely make an effort to include more segments of that nature in future videos! ty anon

Been feeling very depressed recently, just been spending the whole week crying. Finally got a little rest by curling up in a large blanket on my bedroom floor with a playlist of your videos running in the background. Thank you for providing a little comfort to the lonely people of the world. I really do appreciate it.

What about before your sleep issues became a major problem? Was there any issues you noticed or was it hard for you ?

i was 11 when my sleep issues started so i wasn’t dating or aware i was autistic yet

Do you feel like it’s hard to stay in a relationship because of your autism? I have always struggled to stay with someone longer than a couple of months because I literally explode and need my space back

How is your marimo moss ball doing now? I just got one and am very happy with it! I stir the water in the jar everyday to keep it round. Did yours grow a lot?

i don’t have it anymore! i got it when i was around 16. ive moved four times (a couple i didn’t get to pack my own things for) so im not sure when it went missing. i do remember it growing a decent amount though- i would pop it in a sink of cold water and swirl it around twice a week

my dad’s side, and i was born there. we moved to london to live with my mum’s family when i was around 2 but my dad moved back to wales when i was 15 and i would spend the summers with him. he only moved to reading just before covid

Do you think you will insert page markers into your archive for special events? (Like the Canada trip 🍁) or will you be happy to identify where in the archive the pages are from the ephemera pages being a little bulkier?

interesting question, i hadn’t considered doing something like that! i might use one of the bronze midori tabs. i keep looking at making printable tabs etc but the midori ones are so durable but neat and gentle on the pages that i always go back to them

im amazed by the anon you just got calling you rude??? your post did not come across rude at ALL to me. i'm not sure why people struggle so much with your tone on here but you always come across polite and friendly to me so i just wanted to send a reassurance that not everyone thinks you're rude and that i think your post was super reasonable !! :")

Honestly your post saying what kind of answers you were seeking just seemed informative/clarifying to me rather than a complaint/annoyance but I suppose it's another instance of it being very tricky to convey a 'tone' in writing (even harder than in person)

Writing messages is so difficult because it's just another instance of "Spending all our spoons trying to decide in what exact words and order and punctuation to phrase something so it comes across as you meant it, and even then everyone will read the same thing differently so it might still come across wrong to some"

Wow... I'm surprised by the annoyance in your post about people giving suggestions like me about looking at the motivation behind the archives. I'm frankly a little hurt by that post. Some people are just trying to be helpful and I think your response was pretty immature.
