“Do you think you’re the only one that is having a hard time?”
Computerized grey optics eye the dax after turning around in his chair. Everyone was having a hard time of course, but to think that he would prioritize himself over everything else? Teshin’s assumption unintentionally came out rude to him…even if that was the intention, he was still wrong. However, he feels a twinge of doubt within himself.
What if he was just saying these things to hide how he truly felt? “…No, I’m not. I know why you kinda don’t like me and I can’t say I blame you, Teshin. But i’m not prioritizin’ myself over the Tenno. Not durin’ all this bullshit that’s goin’ on.”

The burden of what has been left after Lotus’ departure is all of a sudden heavier than they remembered. More so on Sebastian, since he assumed the role. It was hard for both Ryuketsu and Alex to watch him run himself so ragged. Some of the other Tenno, regardless of knowing about his roots and role in transference, have started to become worried themselves. Neither Ryuketsu or Alex knew what to do...or say. It hurt to see him like this, first from becoming obsessed with finding his daughter, and now he forced himself to assume a role of leadership.
It’s what he feels he must do. He must atone, in any way he can. He doesn’t want the burden of another failure resting on his shoulders.

Voxx wasn’t pleased with this response. Not that it wasn’t what she asked for, but it wasn’t what she was looking for. She didn’t have any hostility towards the other, no. She glanced over to the Chroma. She had a feeling she was already found out.
The Mag was created from the life of Voxx Tae, a medicine woman from the Orokin era, an Apothecarian, the medical equivalent to an Archimedean. She couldn’t figure out how or why she was the way she was, but that’s what drawn her to confront someone who might know. She doesn’t remember her past, how she was made, the pain she went through, or how she came to be. But little by little, fragment by fragment, she was starting to put the puzzle back together, her Operator right at her side.
❝ I should rephrase my question. Your Chroma seems to have figured me out quite quickly, he seems uncomfortable in my presence. ❞
❝ I apologize if this question is overstepping any boundaries of your knowledge, but, how many cases of SENTIENT warframes are there? As in. Those who can think, talk and act for themselves independantly of their operator. ❞
“...I dunno,” Was all he said with a shrug. “I guess it’s a random thing, y’know? Depends on how much the host has retained durin’ their...transformation. Any warframe could be sentient, now that y’think about it.”
The loud thumping of Chroma’s footsteps became audible once again as he basically dwarfed Sebastian simply by standing behind him. He was more observant than the former transference scientist gave him credit for...however, he wasn’t sure if it was through his mannerisms or just because he knew from what his instincts told him. Either way, he wasn’t leaving anything to chance.
“He hasn’t really reacted to many warframes aggressively, but you’re an exception today. Don’t mind it too much, he won’t attack unless you do so first.”

i’ve had a few people ask me if Seb and Alex have had sexual relations or have kissed each other, and at this point neither of them speak about it. however, if you attempt to ask, sebastian might answer with annoyance or melancholy.
‘hey seb, have you and alex actually fu--’
‘yes.’
‘i-i didn’t finish--’
‘you don’t gotta finish. i said yes.’
‘b-but--’
‘yes. now leave.’
alex will obviously blush at the question and offer no comment. lmao.
